I'm seem to remember they debuted it online on YouTube or something. Which I always found kind of odd. Stations love having radio exclusives and DGSS was much anticipated. Just another instance of puzzling promotional decisions for BDI. I don't remember tuning in to any radio shows for and song debuts. I think they all popped up online. Really? i thought it was on Radio 1 Zane Lowe then as soon as the song finished the audio track was posted to youtube. I could be wrong though You are absolutely right. Looked on the board and found the thread. It was 2 am where I live and so I had to sleep because I worked that morning. I usually try to stay up for stuff like that. |

It'll depend how long the buzz around Noel and Damon lasts. If it's heavily in the NME, the announcement could be pushed back to next week, provided there's no big release next monday ?

I just hope Beady Eye doesn't talk up the single release too much, they should just release it unannounced to the radio. Let the music do the talking initially.

If Zane Lowe is going to play it this week you'd fancy him to mention something about it tonight. Zane said earlier on tonight what the Hottest Record In The World was going to be for tomorrow and Wednesday but I didn't hear him say anything about Thursday. Almost certain that it would be played as HRITW so that's the only day now it could be played this week. Maybe waiting for an official announcement from the band first? |

For me they are probably the best band out there currently along with Radiohead. I completely agree about the Grammys but it is nice to see great musicians win much deserved awards. A choice between Arcade Fire and Eminem for album of the year is no choice at all. Gotta roll with AF. |
