That's only a month away.
Noel's TCT gig is Saturday. Maybe the announcement will be next week? Hopefully it'll announce the album and single at the same time so that people can preorder the album right away if the single takes off? Wonder if they'll debut to radio or online like last time.
Personally I think radio debuts are pretty cool. It was so exciting when we were all anxiously listening to Radio 2 for TDOYAM, Radio 1 for The Good Rebel, K-rock for IIHAG. Everyone heard it at the exact same time instead of staggered based on when they could download or when they finally logged on and saw that it was on YouTube.

Zane Lowe said tonight on his show that the first play of the single will be on his show.
He says he's heard a few tracks and the single is really really good
(Where Zane mentions it is literally bang on 1 hour on listen again)

Zane will let up know when it's happening on twitter like he did for The Good Rebel
I know people pick on him for being a bit of ass kisser...but he's one of the very few connected with Radio 1 that support the Gallaghers so he's alright in my books.

Did anyone else think he sounded like he was being really sarcastic when saying it's 'really, really good'?.
Never listen to his show, so don't know how he normally talks stuff up?.
Here's hoping the single is good though!

I think you only have to worry with Zane when he says 'you've got to respect what they've done...' as that usually means it's shit and he's just being polite. I doubt he would announce that he's got the first play and be sarcastic about it being really good.
