From NME (found on SCYHO):
Intrigued! Wonder why nobody has uploaded a crappy phone recording yet onto YouTube? Keeping an eye out!

It reminds me of that Astoria show in 2005. It never surfaced.

What I fail to understand is if Noel Gallagher is doing a soundcheck when the doors are locked and the only people around are venue staff, how the fuck do we get sooo many phone recordings of that shit, but in a nightclub full of clowns, Liam Gallagher walks in and the DJ drops Beady Eye's new track to huge fanfare and not one idiot in the crowd thinks "shit, this will get a lot of views on youtube, I better film some of it".
Amazing. People suck.

Amazing. People suck. Someone mentioned that they may not have announced it to everyone in the club when they played it. The band that made the comment for the NME were apparently hanging out with them so maybe they knew because Liam or someone told them. Maybe they wanted to get an authentic reaction without anyone realizing what was going on and purposefully didn't mention what it was until after. If they are playing it in public is must not be far away from a official play on radio though.

Or even if Liam had announced it, everyone was too drunk/excited to even think of taping it. And if they had, the sound quality from a club probably wouldn't be great anyway. A lot of the stuff that leaked of Noel's was obviously taped by people who were deliberately waiting around for his soundcheck, to try and get a new song or two. Beady Eye's song was unexpected. But like everyone else, I'm excited about hearing it on the radio soon...

In some ways worse than nothing because you can only hear half the tune which is obviously not how it's meant to be hear but every feels it's OK to judge it. We're better off hearing it for the first time in decent quality, I think.

I'd rather wait to hear a quality version, it's got to be played shortly
