haha, too many albums releases. Unfortunately, have learned not to get too excited I don't ever let bad releases steal the enthusiasm, but thats just me. Have you not read any of my posts about this album and bringing in Dave Sitek to produce? I could not be anymore enthusiastic. I'm only kidding about the Gem comment because I hate when artist use such lame ass lines. To be honest, I think only Andy is reliable in terms of album remarks. |

Shall be interesting. I just want to hear it. I don't care what people's opinion of it were. No one is gonna say it was shit, they'll all say it was "mega" because they were there. Just like to get less talk and more music. Which hopefully should happen sometime this week or next week. “Now they’ve tracked 21 songs in nine days [in London]. Sitek called at 6pm the other night to say, ‘I need a brass section. Get me a brass section now.’ Everyone in the [Quest] building was calling to sort it for him, and we did – within two hours it was recorded. It was a track that was never going to make the album, but Sitek completely changed the vibe and now it’s an amazing song.
Tom Rowlett of the band Dexters heard the track. He said, "I was pretty fucked so memory a bit hazy, but it had a big brass section and Liam's vocals sounded massive, proper in-your-face psychedelic rock'n'roll. Sounding fuckin' massive, man, the whole place went off when it came on! Liam was amazing. They always say don't meet your heroes but he was brilliant – he pulled us into his VIP area, we had a few beers with him, he was buzzing off the new LP and so are we now!"

Liam listened to Noelys album, heard the brass, and decided he fancied abit of bugle.. (Only this time bugle as in the instrument)
