Why does bieber and one direction bug you some much? Why does it matter so much to you? The same could be said to you about Liam and Beady Eye. Look at my sig.... Also read my comments about The Morning Son...

What a cretin you are... This kind of stuff is what is wrong with music on a whole, sure teenage girls have always loved cheesy pop but this kind of stuff and one direction and other talent show rubbish dominates the music scene now so that any one who dares pick up a real guitar and write their own tunes can't even dream of making the charts. Im a cretin? Haha im a cretin. My god you are comedy gold marra. What affect does bieber have on you? His music certainly doesnt affect my life.. I choose not to listen so I dont care. Whi are you to judge anyway? The charts are filled with pop stars aimed at kids, just like in the 90's when it was all guitar bands and people who grew up in the 70/80's with music of that decade hated "young crappy bands like Oasis/ blur/ etc" You think you are better than pop fans because you like rock, dont you? Its nothing like the 90's tbh. The level's of manufactured pop and covers getting in the charts is sky high these day's. Sure those people will always be in music and I accept that but to me music is about being creative, whether it be hip hop, reggae or dance music. The problem these day's the music company's are worried by a drop in sales are more interested in short term, low risk but potentially high sales artists. And so you get the manufactured pretty people, appealing to a huge amount of kids who see them gathering exposure on massively popular tv talent shows belting out covers that were crafted by people of real talent.

Its not that type of act, they have always been around but its the frequency of them now.

Put on Beady Eye and ignore bieber. Problem solved.

It absolutely amazes me that you guys can fill up 15 pages of a thread for a song you haven't heard and know nothing about, just bickering over nothing.

You've got it mate, although personally I'd throw The Roller in there too, and maybe switch a few around. It's not hard to imagine why people think Beady Eye are bad when they think that Four Letter Word is their best song, its pretty much the definition of average. Could not disagree with this anymore if i tried. Also if you want the definition of average, Pete Doherty is the man. I don't know how to put this politely, but if you tend to find the Morning Son and Wigwam some of the worst tracks on the album, while Four Letter Word near the top, I'm not sure Beady Eye is the band for you... perhaps something more along the lines of The Vaccines?

Actually, yes. Better is the wrong word to use, it makes me look like a dick if I agree (and I know you weren't asking me), but at the same time, there is something to be said for people who listen to more complex and interesting music over the manufactured to appeal to the lowest common denominator radio shit. Forgive me for this generalization, and I understand that this personal anecdote about correlation does not prove absolutely anything, but more interesting people tend to have deeper music tastes (could be rap, jazz, metal, whatever). Ever tried talking to a top 40 kid? Don't. Get drunk, have a good time, but don't expect any enlightenments to come out of conversation

Agreed, people listening to good music can either be interesting or vaginas but people who listen to crap music are 100% dumb and uninteresting. It's like gravity, it's a law of nature.

It's among the songs I like more on the album, alongside FLW and Wigwam. I honestly think that The Morning Son is pure crap, though.

Everyone just get excited for new music soon. No matter how much we try and break it down on here, One Direction and the Biebs will always dominate. We are all fans of a music genre thats not top shit at the moment. Have faith, guitar music will return.

I like it too, but I reckon that guitar work is a bit bland on that tune.

The Morning Son is pure crap, though. I was watching BBC news yesterday, and Alan Pardew (Newcastle United manager) claimed that they have an equal history to Benfica. I thought that was the daftest quote id heard in a long time. You however have obliterated it with this quote. Morning Son, pure crap? No.
