Thank you Long time ago and there were plenty of summers on jones beach in Long Island I was right there with him ...all fellow New Yorkers know what a scene jones beach is and the stuff we did there was insane unfortunately he didnt stop, and I buried him. He was a real cool cat was going to the Air Force and cutting his hair no bullshit he enlisted and all Had one last binge ,I wasn't there ,I was in Staten Island. He overdosed on some smack ( heroin) no way he does it with me there he may have looked like Morrison but I could kick his ass like I did all our life together . Drugs kill , if not careful ,I'm no saint. Far from it. Like Noel the odd joint and of course booze. But that's what happens when you get caught up in the game. Especially in the smack Thank you though |

Drugs are bad. That is all. That's a bit one sided isn't it? In the company of good friends they are a bonding agent, an experience to digest for years and years to come. Used improperly with arrogance is when they become lethal. Here, in the deep south we have a saying:"If you hunt a Gator', remember that your being hunted as well." They're deadly but if you have a mind for it and can keep yourself above the waves you'll be fine...if not well the...your finished. |

my advice: stay with the good old ganja. every other drug (alcohol included) is bad. but i won't judge anybody. a friend of my family was using H for over 20 years without struggling in life. i think it all depends on how strong you are and if you got a good friendcircle

I didn't take offense bro ,I didn't know if it was a joke or not you know in typing you can't tell and I know I don't use the perfect gramma. ,so all I meant was if it bothered you ..you can move ,on didn't mean it as me coming off as a wiseass there honest ,,,,,im sorry if it did... typing stuff certainly changes what one can mean hard to tell jokes and such but thank you for condolences Appreciate that man! |

Having done them for so long then quit then go back ...now except for booze and the occasional joint ,, been off the bad shit close to 5 years.. I think Liam to me reminds me of others I know , down deep he looks like he enjoys it and every now and again especially on the road I can see him falling back a bit and Chopping one out you know ......hope I'm wrong it's just a vibe. Sorta reminds me of Eddie van van halen ....I remember when he was married to Valerie. She said all would be good in between tours then as soon as the tour was about to start he would tell her to have his room ready when he gets home......the room he spoke of was his personal room at Betty ford clinic....saw that in Larry king long ago obviously ...hope Liam dont follow that though |

I've done acid, weed, and schrooms. Stayed away from the hard stuff like coke and heroine. Just not my bag.
I agree that I Liam is one of those people that when he's at home around his kids he probably doesn't touch anything except nights out drinking. But on the road I could see him falling back into the same habits. Hopefully if he does continue to use he doesn't fall too far to one side of that balance.

I saw a interview recently he admits to drinking and weed use still when no kids around ,, but when they are with him he's sober ....no harm no foul there. Imo |

People have gone SO far into the "it's not the smoking, it's the chemicals" mindset that I think people actually believe that the inhalation of burning fumes into your lungs isn't harmful in itself. Plus when people smoke pot they he generally hold the fumes in longer than they do the tobacco smoke. It may not be as carcinogenic...but it's still worse for your lungs than not smoking anything. |
