According to that unofficial Beady Eye facebook page the first single will be out in April. Exciting.

You beat me to this, I was about to create the thread  Basically the primary source is this tweet  He is the same guy who announced Jay Mehler was leaving Kasabian to join Beady Eye as their new bassist. Can we believe him? |

The info comes from mick lynham on twitter.
To be fair to him he did correctly post Noel's first tour dates before anyone else.
his profile says works for RCA records hopefully this is all true

Sounds about right, will be great to hear some new stuff. They cocked up last time by releasing Bring The Light for free before the first single which was the worst thing on the album, must have killed a lot of people's interest in one swoop.

He only tweeted about Jay after it was on here which is only thing that makes the info slightly dubious.
Like I say he did leak the noel tour date tho, and a single in April then the album May/June fits in perfect time wise

If it's true which I believe it is, we should be getting an announcement about the single either this week or next week with it's first airplay coming at the end of March or something. So excited.

That time scale seems about right. With T In The Park already confirmed they are bound to announce a tour. They need a bit hype & something to promote too!
So I'd say they will release A Single then The Album then another Single before July anyway!

"the beady eye's day out" article said that liam said it was psychedelic etc etc and some rock n roll bangers.
While i think that article doesnt seem right i would guess their lead single got to be a pretty straight rock n roll tune.
i really hope it lives up to their description too

Congrats Sally .....you hit the 100 mark quick ! Glad your enjoying the build up . Enjoy it .....I can't get into a bdi or Noel build up will support it ,buy it. And all but the only oasis related buildup I will be excited over is a oasis album buildup or reunion tour buildup ...my passport is always renewed just in case it's time to travel again . But as for this just can't get enthused about the buildup but will listen and support as always |

I became an Oasis fan just a few weeks after Noel's album came out. Been fucking obsessed ever since! haha, when I got into them, I deleted everything else and my iTunes library consisted solely of Oasis, Beady Eye and Noely G for about a year before I started to listen to some other stuff. Still obsessed with them though. I thought I was one of the latest here and DOYS was the first Gallagher release I had as a fan. Shame you never got the chance to go to a gig though, even in 2009 Oasis were a great live band. |
