I'll be honest, I couldn't care less about Beady Eye attitude thing. The same with any band really.
I just care about the tunes, so I hope the album is a fresh surprise.

Someone mentioned this before, but attitude is for young acts in their 20's. It loses its bite when 40 somethings are the ones doing it.

Wait did you just say Beady Eye and "let the music do the talking"? That is not the Beady Eye way thus far. "It's (DGSS) is up there with Definitely Maybe...." "It's like the Beatles....on acid." "We are gonna be massive!" Hardly implying the "music do the talking" route. To be fair, I was talking about this new album, the DM quote is an example of what is not to be done. The press can't help but write about it every time. The only example you posted regarding this second album is not really hyping it up, I think (Beatles on acid). He's just describing the music, in his own way. Not arrogant by any means. Well as long as you meant for album #2 I agree for the most part. Bringing in Dave Sitek to produce and Mark Stent to mix were excellent ideas. I expect a better final product this time around. Lets hope Gem was right: "You can hear the sounds of my friends jaws dropping."

But I don't really buy it when those are young bands either The art I appreciate is music, not if a bunch of guys are big mouthed or not.

They're terrible.

it was only a matter of time... BDI rumour threads are a ticking time bomb and once gdforever gets a hold on them they explode. Nice one again gdforever... Could you point me in the direction of the post that gdforever made that caused the thread to explode? I read the whole thread twice and managed to miss the post of hers that apparently was incorrect and out of line. I seem to keep missing these seemingly terrible posts of hers. Thanks for your help. Someone just decided to make a mountain out of mole hill Like we should be discussing the music when their basically hasn't been anything new from them in 2 years. My guess if I decided to say that I prefer BDI's practice of constantly keeping the the fanbase in the loop over Noel's stubborn refusal to confirm anything until a time when it'll make maximum impact I am certain that it wouldn't have illicited a response. It's the opinion not the subject that pisses off tomlivesforever. I could say that World Not Set it Stone sounds kind of generic to me and I am not enthused about it possibly being on the album but even though that is a discussion on the music I am doubting that it'll go down well.

You don't like WNSIS? Fair enough, I'm not keen on it myself. What frustrates most people is how you constantly need to be right at all times and how you over-analyse every little thing and of course you're negativity. Even when BDI did the warrington warm-up gig and everyone was buzzing that Rock N Roll Star and Morning Glory had been played and sounded great, you still moaned about BDI picking obvious songs and not some of the lesser-known oasis tracks.

Rock `n` Roll Star was hardly it`s most amazing redition ever . And Morning Glory sorely missed the backing vocals. I do think that they should have played their own Oasis tunes before breaking out Noels. Personally I wish both Noel and BDI had waited at least a couple albums until starting any Oasis covers though. My opinions are my opinions...they aren`t right or wrong...they just are. But I rest my case. Even discussions about the music aren`t welcome unless you say everything sounds great. People in the BDI section are SO uptight. That`s why a thread like the one that was started a few hours ago in the Noel section called ``Stop The Clocks and Record Machine are shite`` has gotten 30 replies without anyone jumping down anyones throat. Shit like that doesn`t happen in the BDI section without a meltdown occuring of people jumping on other members for their opinions. I'm gonna go back to the Noel section where people aren't afraid to discussion anything they want regardless of whether it's positive or negative

Nah not really. If you knew my opinion on Beady Eye you wouldn't think it. But with people like GD telling the world how good it is to be surprised by something we rarely even get to the music anymore. It is your whole selfless Beady Eye persona which makes you the ideal candidate to hold that Public Relations/Social Media Coordinator position. Don't be coy Tom. You know it be true. BTW....what is your favorite Beady Eye song? Mine is easily Four Letter Word. No, not being coy. Its a simple idea that since you don't actually know my opinion on BE that you shouldn't assign me to a position based on your own erroneous assumption. You have given me much to smile about though, taking Liam/other band members seriously and thinking it is of any importance to the the music they put out. The only thing this thread shows is that is that you are another member that will make this section unpleasant over the next few months.

Is was at Warrington and I don't think anyone even dreamt about the missing backing vox on MG.
I saw noel 7 times on his solo tour and none of his gigs or songs generated the energy or buzz of that gig. I think any rendition that can do that to a crowd must be a good rendition. It's ment for a live gig not to watched on YT videos.

Oh @ tomlivesforever, I pay you a compliment and this is the way you treat me? " this thread shows is that is that you are another member that will make this section unpleasant over the next few months."
I have been nothing but open and honest about Beady Eye. I've said many positive things about the upcoming album ranging from Dave Sitek to Mark Stent involvement. This is an Oasis/Noel/Beady Eye forum. If we can't discuss and critique these bands what is the point of this place? Here is my own personal Beady Eye fact sheet Thomas: 1. I liked DGSS, it was definitely better than I expect but nowhere near DM glory that Liam believed it to be. 2. I love many of their tracks (Four Letter Word, Millionaire, In The Bubble With A Bullet, The Morning Son, etc) 3. I hate others (Kill For A Dream, The Beat Goes On) 4. I enjoyed 2 of the 3 Beady Eye shows I saw in 2011. Letterman was the best for me and Terminal 5 by far my least favorite Oasis related concert ever. 5. I am super excited about album #2 and the involvement of Dave Sitek. Potentially Mark Stent with mixing. 6. I do not PERSONALLY liked when Liam boasts too much to the press. Comes off clownish when you are in your 40s and does Beady Eye a disservice in the press. Also, I just hope you realize I was kidding about their haircuts, album titles and song names so don't take that stuff to heart. I know it has nothing to do with the music. It was a joke so I am sorry I smudged your leopard print shoes! #ReadyToTangoWhenTheBeadyEyeAlbumDrops

I would rather listen to Beady Eye's Morning Glory than Noel trying to make Supersonic a soulful acoustic ballad any day of the week.
Well back on topic. I say let's give the OP a week to see if anything comes out of his boastful claims. If not, put this topic in the play pen.
