I have an ambivalent feeling towards the LAG output.
DGSS would`ve been considered a great record if FLW, TR, BTL, MS, WW, TRC were the basis of the record and the other- lets say 5 songs- would`ve been great/standout songs.

If the other songs were as good as FLW, TR, BTL, MS, WW, TRC I would consider it a great record personally cos I wouldn`t have expected the album to be as good as that.
But the truth is the other songs are not on par with these songs. BAS, KFAD, FA, WUD, SOTEOTN, TBGO are -to me- as unlistenable as TNOR, TBWTL, AGN and IOT.

Theres another point- I found the LAG contributions except some from the DBTT era to be really mediocre.
I have to say I liked them as bandmembers and frontman but I always hoped for another N.Gallagher written Oasis album.
The LAG songs somehow disturbed the quality of the albums and were somehow an expected let down.
Due to that I wasn´t expecting anything great by them and was quite biased.

So some songs from DGSS were a positive surprise but the others a reassurance why I couldn`t stand their whole output.
Why Noel would not include the better songs by LAG on DOYS is beyond me. I guess his dumb idea of a "grooving" album is to blame..

I hope they do the rocking, druggy, outtherestuff.

Yes and I hate IOT with a passion. It´s such a gooey song.
