BDI did a few gigs in their year off so it's possible Noel could do the same.
I can't remember what interview but Noel expresses interest a while back about playing the acoustic tent at Glastonbury. Maybe they lured him back with a slot there.

Perhaps someone offered Noel to headline and he didn't refuse? Improbable, but not impossible imo... or maybe he would just pull of his acoustic set as gdforever mentioned above... could be pretty epic...
And im pretty sure Liam would play glasto in a heartbeat, its not like Beady Eye are famous enough to refuse such a giant festival....

He was also rich in '04.  Although a non-headlining may not pay enough to entice now. Also...I still don't think Noel is big enough for a headline set at something as big as Glastonbury. |

Sucks when people jump down your throat like you've insulted someone when you've merely made a fairly obvious observation that would have passed if it had been made by someone else, huh? If he wants his album to be a hit he has to tour to promote it and the bigger the audience the bigger the exposition. Therefore, I dont think it would be very wise to deny glasto. I agree that it would make sense to go to any festival that would have them. Their sales were boosted through the UK festival season 2011 so it obviously worked for them as a promotional tool. |

Thanks for the info. Not that surprised since he keeps saying he wants a long extended break. Deep down I hope he is secretly meeting with the AA or another producer to sort out that project's mixes!  |
