Just watched this again, haven't listened to it in about 5 months. Blown away by how good Liam's vocal is, it's the most clear I've heard him sound since I can't even remember. He absolutely nails it.
What d'you think of his vocal on this live performance?

well, I don't think is a difficult song for him to sing..but his tone in this one is absolutely extraordinary..very smooth and it has all the things we all like about Liam I don't really now the year of this..but if its in the 2000s, then is IMO his best vocal take ;D

this is his best vocal take since 2000 Yeh awesome version of rock n roll star, on a par I think with the one from later...with Jools Holland at the start of the SOTSOG tour

Liam's voice sounded great in that entire gig, you know why? It's because he looks cool, when he looks great he sounds great, fact.

I'd say the KEXP session introducing BDI. That was Buddha Studios, London was it not?

Liam had so many good vocals even up to 2002. This thread should be retitled to look at 2004 and thereafter. Point and case, love this 2002 rendition of SCYHO:

Point and case, love this 2002 rendition of SCYHO: weve been on this forum for a lot of years together and with that comes respect but mate his voice is knackered here, if anything its this version that sounds like the vocal nodules, kermit esque style whatever you wanna call it started kicking in

This one and the KEXP sessions were brilliant Somehow I just can't believe that's a live take. It's surely got pre recorded vocals. Liam never finishes the end of the verses the way he doing on this one. Like see the first line he never sings the extended 'onnnnnnnn' just a short 'on' but in this video he does it just like the album. And especially in 'the clock on the wall says it's time' he sings it like the album not how he always does it live in that angry way. So I don't think the vocals are all live.

At the start of the tour he always extended the 'onnnnnnnnnn' like the album version, he stopped doing it half way through the tour for some reason.
Same goes for 'the clock on the wall says it's time', about half way through the tour he started saying 'the cock of the north says it's time' instead.
He always sounds brilliant at the start of the tour.

That vocal is quite obviously live.

Why is it every time Liam does a great vocal people assume it's been edited?

Because it's become an increasingly rare occurrence. No offense, like.
