Pretty sure the Kasabian show is sold out, so it wouldn't matter either way. The teenage cancer trust normally runs for at least a week sometimes just over a week so we should expect another act to be announced for at least the Monday. Also the line up / tickets were announced / released much earlier than usual this year. I could see beady eye being added to the lineup once their marketing kicks in a little. Possibly mid to end of February. But wasn't the rumor for Beady Eye to support Kasabian? No need to add a somewhat high profile act to a show that's already sold out. |

I have to admit that I'm a bit sceptical this time. But at least they're putting a lot of effort in this material, so it can turn out very good indeed..
..perhaps is the way Amorphous Androgynous mix of Falling Down..thats all I can think of it xD
another thing that got pointed out was how are they going to traduce that stuff to the live stage..

The last thing I'm worried about is how Beady Eye are going to reproduce the sounds of the record in a live setting. Let's hear this "far out" album first. I'm just hoping that having an intrumental "Yellow Tail" on the album with sitars and Tamburas isn't the only thing far out on the record. |

I can't see yellow tail getting on tbh, they've apparently written 20 new songs which will hopefully mean the best 11 get picked for the album, I can't see that there will be space for an instrumental that isn't that good imo. It would be nice to hear a proper version though, spruced up a bit with a few interesting instruments added it could be a decent tune

I'm purely speculating on Yellow Tail being on their new album. I too would like a studio version of the song and always enjoyed hearing it as Beady Eye took the stage. I'm sure it will pop up somewhere eventually. |

It works well live I think because its quite mellow and relaxed, the lights are turned down and then four letter word bursts on so there's a good contrast between the songs. It works at the live show but I'm not sure how it would translate onto album it could be a bit dull but who knows... |
