I don't think I'd actually listen to Gem either. I think he can actually be blinded by enthusiasm as Liam can...just not as hyperbolic about it. I remember him saying that they had had to make DGSS 13 songs because they couldn't imagine leaving any of those 13 songs off the album becaus ethy were too good. Gem is unfailingly nice and positive. Where Liam is a "best thing ever" type of person Gem is more of a "it's all good" kind of person. Maybe Andy but he barely talks. Honestly no one in BDI seemed anything other than unfailingly complimentary about DGSS. We're not gonna find out flaws or weak points from the boys I don't think. It's a post like this one is why I frequent this board less and less. It's just this silly, highy speculative nitpicking that's just intolerable.  |

Yeh definitely I reckon they'd have a single out at that time so playing it at the Royal Albert Hall would definitely give it some coverage the only issue with the rumour is that Noel picks the acts... I can't imagine Noel picking his brother especially after some of the things Liam's said recently I suppose. |

She didn't nitpicked, she stated an opinion and hasn't really posted in sometime. I swear, it's gotten to a point, where even when GD just posts a post that most other members would post, she still gets criticized. Reading through that post, there's nothing wrong with it. It's not overly long, it's an opinion that's not stated as fact, and it's not something that anyone should be riled from, unless you just dislike the very act of GD posting. |

Its a fan forum mate. People here are getting excited for new music. Sure some people aren't and we know who those are but there is a group who come here to piss on people's fire and consistently try and get a rise out of members.
I rarely post in the Noel section anymore unless I have something good to say, why? Because the people there are fans, they want to share there excitement for all things Noel. People know my opinion of him on here so there is no reason to repeat it. In the same way that I don't go to a Guns n Roses fan forum to say that I don't like Axl Rose.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with World's Not Set In Stone. It sounds pretty good on the acoustic... I think it would sound good with just the acoustic guitar and Liam's voice at the start and then build up with the guitar and piano solo's at the end |
