I am quite convinced these are not Liam's words, they sound silly. I think The Sun made it up. yeh it could be, I remember Liam saying in an interview that tabloid papers like the Sun and the Daily Mirror always claim to have exclusive interviews with him but he's never actually done an interview with a paper like that

It's Liam. I take it with a pinch of salt. But it is still nice to hear him excited about what he's doing (if this interview is real). In the end, it's just nice to hear people from your favorite band liking what they're doing. p.s. vote for the L4E Awards

Read the article again, yeah liam does say it is expermental and "cosmic" also says that its far out and how he's releasing his far out album before noel and that we will never get to hear Noels far out album. also quashes any rumours of getting back on stage with noel saying he is a f****** idiot etc, etc...

I just hope they're going for something original this time. DGSS just sounds like they copy/pasted the sixties.

I hope the 20 songs include B-Sides and Bonus tracks and that its not going to be a 20 song album.

Anyone found a bigger scan yet of them in Q Magazine?
Says they are putting the finishing touches to the album, can't be long now before we get an announcement.

Here we go again..... Glad to hear he's confident about the new album, but still there's no need for him to say all that negative stuff towards noel. Bang out of order.

yeah it's getting ridiculous at this stage. i don't mind if they don't like each other and i love liam but i wish he'd take a lesson from noel's book and not be so bitter about things. one comment from noel and liam's all over it whereas noel just ignores it

Really sad that their relationship seems to have deteriorated considerably since the start of 2011. Back then Liam didn't have this much spite concerning Noel. I think he's taken all of Noel's jokes on him and Beady Eye to heart and that seems to be why his apparent hatred for Noel seems to have increased quite a lot.

This is a duel. A battle, that Liam cannot win.
Liam has transformed into self-parody. he could get away with it when he was in Oasis because he was in a big band which had a back catalogue of great songs written by Noel Gallagher.
Now he is in a 3rd rate 60's throwback band with 1 good song and its just childish jealousy thats causing the 40 year old Liam to spout such dribble.
Beady Eye is, and always will be a quest for Liam to get one over on Noel. As it stands it is Liam Gallagher 0-1 Noel Gallagher. The High Flying 'Smurfs' as Liam so elegantly puts it, ripped Beady Eye a new arsehole. Liam gave it the bigg'un straight away.. I;m sure I recall claims of "Best Album in 50 Years". Noel however, kept schtum.. and went about making an album.
2011, it happened Liam released a poor album, big hype, big bravado, little impact, no credibility.
Noel comes in, press conference answers all questions in one sitting, announces album, brings it out, big hype, medium bravado, big impact, big credibility, sells millions.
Liam begins with the Billy Big Bollock "we are the best" then a year down the road admits its all shit and album 2 must be better. Noel starts off downplaying everything but when he does well, then he gives off a justified Billy Big Bollock "I AM the best"
Liam is probably always pissed at home screaming at the tele whenever Noel is heard and takes a line of the white stuff,
Whilst Noel is probably most content at home with his wife, sipping on a cold beer listening to abit of 90;s dance music. You cant buy that sort of class...

Yea, I don't think Noel was ever that derogatory towards Liam at any point in the last couple of years. At points there may have been quip, but nothing as utterly disrespectful as that. He sounds more like a kid on a temper tantrum, than a guy in his 40's. I would have thought that some of the wounds would have healed for Liam. But this sounds like the stuff he was spewing at the beginning of the first BDI tour where it was all "fuck Oasis", "fuck Noel", "He held us back". The answer to the above interview could have been handled with more class. In my opinion, most things can be excused by "it's Liam saying it, what can you expect?". But it seems as if this one is different and more tasteless.

Looks like the album will shit now cause Liam said bad words about Noel. Too bad because he said that, the songs magically transformed over night.

We all know Liam and Noel's relationship is at rock bottom at the moment, why is everyone acting surprised? It's nothing Liam hasn't said before.

Yeah. Not mentioning he is right about Noel... I think Noel said much worse (but yeah, maybe not vulgar) and more hurting things than calling Liam an idiot, so i really cannot see, why you "were expecting Liams wounds to heel sooner".

Essentially nothing has changed. Its not a revelation or a big deal tbh.

"Liam Gallagher has been speaking to Q Magazine about Beady Eye's debut album.
The singer said "It was done off the back of Oasis, it wasn't progressive enough, it hadn't moved on. There were good moments but it just didn't connect. This one, people might hate it too but its not stuck in a 60s rut. Obviously there's Lennon vibes in there but we've turned it on it's head. Not that the pressure's on or anything, but it's a really important record for me. If no one buys it, it's back to the drawing board. So we'll see. I'm prepared for whatever.""
This might please some of those above.

We all know Liam and Noel's relationship is at rock bottom at the moment, why is everyone acting surprised? It's nothing Liam hasn't said before. It's just classless the way he did it. He could have easily sidestepped it and decided not to. They both say shit about each other, but this time, it was less of Liam doing the funny swipe like "high flying smurfs" and just more spiteful. A lot of it sounds like sour grapes. I don't know, I get trying just saying, "well their relationship has been shit for sometime", but I don't see how that excuses just unloading as if he killed your first born. It seems as if he's still hurt and there's a lot of resentment. Which is sad. I would have thought that he would have grown up a bit. It's one thing to do a swipe, but to just unload like that. If Noel did the same, I wouldn't be able to excuse it as easily.

ax Beatles & Stones, Standing On The Edge Of The Noise and Wind Up Dream and add In The Bubble With A Bullet and the album would have been so much better
