So, Beady Eye have recorded 21 songs already, (I'm not sure if they are fully recorded, the manager said they 'tracked' 21 songs, anyone know what that means?) when do you expect the first single to come out from the new album? Things have moved a lot faster than expected I have to say, I originally thought we wouldn't hear anything until around April-May but they seem to be really cracking on with it!
I'm going for a single to be released at the beginning of March.
What do you all think?

Thanks. Assuming those 21 songs are completely tracked then that means they're fully recorded. Although that still means they're a long way off from being released. tracking is probably the fastest part of recording an album. Its the mixing that takes so much time. |

We'll get new music by summertime so I'm not that concerned about it. Besides, what's better than driving somewhere in the summer with some friends blasting new tunes on the radio? Summer's a good time for new music. I'm guessing a first single would be around April though.

If the album is due in May, which seems to be what is being suggested, then hopefully a first single by end of february.

I'd expect the single to drop about two months before the album, which is due in May. I wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed back to June or July though...so a single sometime in March or April seems very realistic right now.

If its gonna be out in summer.. hopefully it will be early summer so they can get some touring/festivals done this summer instead of autumn/winter..

I think it'll be out by festival season.
Festival season was a pretty good time for them. I think they capitalize on that again.
I think album late May-Early June. Single late March-early April.

Single in late March with airplay in early March. There should be a second just before the album come outs. I figure a second single in early May with airplay in late April. Album in mid May
