The naming of a certain amount of songs is too strange tbh. I'd be interested to know who told the The Sun though.

not that hard to google,
"Spring-Summer '12 London Fashion Week was held 14-18 September, 2012"
....
"Autumn-Winter '13 London Fashion Week will be held 15-19 February, 2013."
~~ Don't know where or why a rumour like this would spring up, but sure sounds fake to these ears. Hope I'm proven wrong but I doubt it.

Maybe it's just to do with London Fashion week, it's only a month out. There has to be a little truth in it.

I don't see why there would be any truth in it tbh. It was in The Sun, its also odd to announce how many tunes will be played. Don't get me wrong it would be nice to see I just haven't heard anything to convince me.

You're probably right, I'm clutching at straws, always wanted Liam to do something like this. You never know though.

We want to do more on the accessories side of things - we have a completely new shoe range launching next season which is exciting. The next big thing is our showing at London Collections: Men in January… I'm not saying I'm believing it, but If there's any truth on it I think this is the event on which the gig would take place.

Doubt it was true unfortunately, would be amazing if it was though. One thing I've always hoped is Liam would do an acoustic gig, it'd be special.

Hearing Liam acoustically for 45 minutes could be hit or miss in 2013. I think Liam is nervous about his voice being naked and not being able to hide any weaknesses behind loud guitars/drums. This isn't 1994 Liam voice when he sounded absolutely fantastic on those MTV Wanted performances. The time for something like this was August 1996 but we all know how that ended.

Liam is always a hit or miss vocally. But I don't think it has anything to do with nerves. He's been refusing to do acoustics since he was a big enough deal to feel that he could. He just doesn't like them.

He always seems to be great acoustically though, I'm Outta Time on the DOYS tour was brilliant and at that time live he was singing pretty rough. Same goes for Guess God Think's I'm Abel on the DBTT tour. With his voice sounding better than it has for ages as well, I think it'd be brilliant.

He just doesn't like them. He's been refusing to really do them since his voice got frail around 2001-2002. He had no problems before that when his voice was in it's prime. Could be a coincidence with the timing of it but I don't personally believe that. Sure he's had his moments doing songbird on the radio acoustically here and there but never a lengthy engagement.

He's done more acoustically after 2002 then before it so that doesn't make sense lennon?

Both very true, he didn't do any acoustic sessions, apart from the Stand By Me by the Pool Be Here Now special, from 1995 till 2002 when he performed Songbird and then again in 2004, the Don't Believe The Truth mini set Rolo mentioned and I'm Outta Time in 2008. Each time Liam sang he sounded really good so the frail voice point doesn't cut it here.

Liam did plenty of acoustic performances early on. Obviously he blew a major one for MTV unplugged but that was more due to a drunken bender, not voice. He sounded ok in 2000 on US radio doing Little James and he sounded ok doing I'm Outta Time in 2008. He was solid doing Songbird around 2004/05. The question is can he do it for 40 minutes? And Liam does have a frail voice these days. It is sad but true. It pops up in rock gigs so I'm sure it would pop up in an acoustic session. It is just my opinion that is why he doesn't want to do it. I could be wrong.

His voice may suit that kind of surrounding without a wall of noise and a crowd singing as loudly as a normal gig. Liam's voice maybe frail in an actual gig setting on occasion but not anywhere near as much as what people make it out to be on here, especially when most hear him after listening to a YouTube recording that does him (or any artist for that matter) no justice. I will admit sometimes he can make you cringe when he shouts rather than sings and he has to pronounce his words properly instead of cutting himself off like he does but I think, in my opinion, he could carry out an acoustic gig no problem as it is a softer setting.
