You said it was 'dickish behaviour' and he was an 'idiot', I don't think he's really done anything wrong except be a bit over excited. Its frightening on here how many people are so desperate to make something of nothing if presented with the opportunity.

I don't see where calling him an idiot and saying it was dickish behavior, then saying that it was no worse than what anyone has done is in anyway "desperate to make something of nothing." Actually, it's fairly innocuous.

Well its not long anymore but its still pretty pointless. The thing with the staff member isn't what I found funny anyway, I don't think anybody was calling him a hero for that, it was the singing and dancing and getting chucked out of a football stadium is what I found funny What a surprise, theyknowwhatimean defending Liam despite him acting like a utter tosser. Get a life you sad man I'd have loved it if Noel had done it too however much he looked like an utter tosser its still pretty funny

Doesn't wear a suit to an awards ceremony
¨what a rockstar, still cooler than fuck after all this time. never lost it did he?¨
Gets thrown out of a football stadium
¨what childish behaviour, he really needs to grow up, way past his time and age¨

"Yer make me laugh"
Whats wrong with the lot of you? sad, sad people. Liam having it while watching his beloved City at RealMadrids home ground. The underdogs were taking the lead. It`s football. Come on. Away game! Ever been to one? Doesn`t matter how old you are. He kissed the male security guard on the side. Nice to see he had that much fun. He didn`t hurt anyone and left the game after the equalizer. He wasn` removed. He`d better get hold of tickets for the city block though. Discuss chart positions now.

"I carry madness everywhere I go"
Liam is one of the few who means it. That is why he is what he is. I`d love to see the ones on here that give Liam stick for this to sing along to this line. Cos you`d better don`t sing along, if you don`t mean it. Posh people. Go watch baseball. But behave!

I haven't been on this forum in nearly a year now I'd say. Liked it at first, enjoyed the in-depth conversations over Oasis, Beay Eye, NGHFB etc. Then quickly got sick of the tired arguments happening again and again. Don't think there can be any other fan forum that slags off and has such big problems with the main members of a band.
I visit the forum today just out of curiosity to see if there is any news I don't know about which there was. I watch a hilarious video of Liam being Liam and having a great time at the match to celebrate his upcoming 40th birthday. Look at first few comments and its the same crap as before, people split into two camps, try and use long winded sentences and structured paragraphs to somehow incur that what they are saying is in fact a certified fact and all other opinions are nonsensical and incorrect.
On the incident or lack of incident as I see it, I don't really see what the discussion is about. Firstly he kisses a male security guard not female. Don't understand how one could insinuate that as sexual harassment. Yes it's laddish behaviour but that's what Liam is about is it not. Also Continental Europe people kiss every person they meet, think they're used to being kissed. Secondly, from what I've heard Liam wasn't thrown out, he left when Madrid equalised, security just told him to sit down in his seat earlier.
I mean is Liam's behaviour and swagger not a part of the reason you fell in love with Oasis? Now he's 40 and people think this the time for him to calm down and not enjoy himself is that you want? Personally I have a good few people in the world I admire. Gandhi, Stephen Fry would be two for example I feel have spoken great sense on a range of life issues. But when I'm listening to music and going to concerts and reading about musicians I don't want them to be like Gandhi. I want them to be a bit mad in the head, excessive, eccentric, self-abusive rock 'n' roll stars. I didn't get into Oasis at first from listening to their records. It was from seeing Noel blaring out his guitar and Liam doing what he wanted and being the most cocky but cool person I had ever seen. The I realised how good Noel's songwriting was and like the rest of you I was hooked.
Now Liam is 40 and he still wants to live life to the full and be the naturally mad person everyone knows he is and always has been but now people say your too old to be yourself, you have to change, mature perhaps. Well, I know Liam won't pay the slightest attention to any of you who question his actions now and nor should he in my opinion. If it comes down to morality, the people who are calling Liam a tool, idiot etc would they call John Lennon 'a women beater' for example. I'm a big Lennon fan but was it okay then for Lennon to do them actions when he was young but if he's 40 then no, no, no you can't be beating women then Johnny boy. Don't think I'm condoning abuse like that but Lennon's genius lied in his madness and the same applies with Liam for me. Like Lennon Liam is far from perfect, yet it his flaws that make him who he is nearly. This video made me think 'yep, after all these years, Liam is still is mad as ever and I'm still madferrit' and it really comforted me to know that. Yet, on here some people want Liam and Noel to be running for Pope it seems. Well fuck that, that's not who they are and you know it so why expect something else. They don't try and hide the sexual abuse of children for a start.
Rant over, goodbye to this forum for me.

Cracking post above. I think I actually genuinely despise this forum and I'm so glad I'm unlikely to ever meet the moralistas on here. It's astounding that people who've never been to a football match and have no interest in it would brand him a loud, an idiot and talk about sexual harrassment for behaving as the vast majority of football fans do, especially as an away fan in a huge Champions League match. Why do people feel the need to judge and comment on something they know nothing about?
Football stewards are notoriously overzealous for the record and expect if not welcome banter like that (I hate that word but it's appropriate) as their job is basically to play cat and mouse and provoke a reaction. It is NOT the same as kissing an innocent security guard down the local shop or whatever.

Yeah, I've been to a lot of football matches, used to watch my team home and away, and there's nothing better than someone like Liam was in that video, just helps the atmosphere along.
He did no harm to anybody.
