Half time between Athletico and Chelsea.... what an awful match. First time I've seen Athletico play this season, wonder why they are top of the league. As for Chelsea, typical of the boring shite you get from them.

You wouldn't be saying that if Arsenal got a draw away against one of the top sides in Europe.

Why did Cech just come off? Because of an injury in the shoulder his season is over.

Chelsea's billions and wealth of talent makes them more than a match for a surprise package of the season. It's alright against Guardiola's Barcelona because they were the best team in the world, but man for man, Chelsea piss all over Athletico. I'd be pissed off with Arsenal playing like that against a team of similar talent. Of course - this season they played Dortmund and took the game to them. For the neutral, it was brilliant to watch. Unfortunately, as a neutral watching Mourinho's Chelsea, it's always a moodkiller and sure to persuade people to slit their wrists. I only have to refer you to the amount of twitter abuse Cheslea have got. Is it any wonder Chelsea are the most hated club in the UK? No true football fan enjoys this type of shit, sorry.

I just read some tweets of one of my favourite journalists. He is an "expert" in international football.
Said the same as you about the neutral. But neutral is not who pays the coach or the team, but the club and their supporters. It's them who the coach has to think about. And all the fans want their team to win. At the final rounds of a cup or a league, to win at any cost.
I enjoy my team very important games cos they're exciting, at that level is less about the "beauty" and more about winning and having more balls.

I'll tell you this for free: watching Arsenal scrape by Wigan in the FA Cup semi final was excruciatingly painful.

Special One my arse. All that money spent.... jesus christ. Proof Mourinho is limited when he is forced to dispense with two parked buses and is forced to actually play football.
An all Madrid final then - what a spectacle that will be. Fingers crossed for Atletico, but it would still be fitting to see Ancellotti lift a third European Cup. It's gonna be a great match.

I think Atletico believed more and deserved their win. As for not celebrating scoring a goal it's stupid it took all the energy out of that moment and i tend to think it's disingenuous.

Their squad is only second in quality to Man City in the league - the match against Liverpool showed how he could mix and match easily. Thought it was telling that Hazard complained that Chelsea weren't 'set up to play attacking football' after the match - that's their big problem I think, not getting the best out of their attacking talent. And there's a mass wealth of attacking players there, if not top top quality strikers. I would like to see him play a more attractive, attacking brand of football - judging that Liverpool, Man City, Atletico Madrid, Dortmund (before Bayern bought all players) etc are playing very attacking football, perhaps thats the way football is going these days.

I thought you English people understood more about the feelings and the game. It's his club. It always was. And he knew it could kick them out of the final. He didn't fake it.

I think he's trying to find his way back to Atletico. Some say it's imminent that he'll return so I suppose the last thing he wanted to do was piss off the Atletico fans. If he wasn't returning, I think he might have celebrated it.

I don't remember the first time I saw a non celebration. Lots of years ago, I guess.
He didn't celebrate it cos Atlético is his team, since he was a child. Chelsea is the club he works for.
Some players have feelings too, most times their motivation is not money. They've got tons of money. They do/avoid things they feel like doing/avoiding.
Just my opinion.
