I live in this world. I don't like violence any more than you do.Violence is a bad thing. But when you see violence in films...it's... you know... if movies... films caused violence...we'd be able to wipe out violence tomorrow. Boom. No more films. That's fine with me. I'll find something else to do. I'll fuck on my own time. You know, I got other interests. I'm a magician. That will be something that I focus on in the future... because you can't fuck forever. I realize that.

This definitely belongs in this thread of there I said it thread I can have my rant no caplock and it there I said it so here goes,, Awhile back someone asked me if I wish I was young again ( DONT get me wrong I ain't dead yet and will be more than happy to drink or workout with the best of you young lot any day come ending time I will still be there wanting more and hope you would as well ) but I said no not if it meant living in this sterile politically correct no fun world we live in today where everything you do , say is held to scrutiny . Another example of why I am proud to come from my era is this , at the gym today my nephew told me he got these concerts tix for a band I have no idea who I don't pay attention to his shit musical taste . But I did ask him how he got the tix and I just cringed Much like you cats when it's time to buy tix you more than likely go to your pc wait for 9 a m and get your tix , or do something similar , ticket broker , pre sale , fan club pre order , credit card pre order . Ect ect ... It just takes all the fun , good times and great memories out of the pre concert bash that would happen when getting the tix man. Tix would go on sale Saturdays 9 am the whole week in high school and beyond we would plan our strategy which consisted of a pre party and after party ( back then it was one damn party no pre no after just party til it was done ) The whole click like 30 or so guys and girls would cut class on a Friday. (Concert tix generally were on sale in winter months even for summer gigs ) party all day get stoked for the ll nite camp out on forest AVE in Staten Island in front of record baron ..then go strait to the shop camp out see all other faces doin the same line would stretch so far up the block it was ludicrous then just drink smoke take a little break with your girl. and walk up and down the line joining in a joint swigging whatever they had and of course reciprocating Then after tix copped hang out at a diner to exchange stories divide up the tix and comedown ,, like a 24 hour process of strait fun and great memories for life To me it beats the hell out of staying in front of your pc and clicking away to you score your tix ... Ill take the old way every time man ! Much better memories much better time. Much better lifestyle IMO There I said it |

Ran out of everything just now only had eggs and raw carrots. So I made a egg white carrot omlette.
Lets just say I won't be winning any recipe awards on the chew or food network ..don't recommend

The more I think about it even though at the time it sucked but bands like the jam, the smiths , the police , and the clash , got it right. They made some quality music in a short time frame
We never seen them get old ( not counting solo or reunion shit ) and were pissed when they left cause much like a athlete who retires still in there prime and we never see the lean years those bands put it out got in got out made great music in a 5 to 9 years time frame and were ghost ..never showed a decline , and when there music comes on your like man wouldn't be great if they reunited rather than say this shit ain't nothing like there first few albums ya know ?
