Hate to be 'that guy' but Breaking Bad has got to be the most over rated TV show I have ever watched. How much of it have you actually watched and what dramas do you rate above it? All of it, watched it when it first came out as well, not just one of the bandwagon viewers, I honestly just couldn't connect with the characters, with the exception of maybe Mike and Skylar, also there was so many episodes where just fuck all happened. For me these are the shows I would rank above it, and the majority of people won't agree but I'm not bothered, the majority of people bought in to the 'Breaking Bad is the best show of all time' shit. The Sopranos (Love it, even in the very few episodes where nothing happened it was still entertaining) The Wire (Slow start to season 2 keeps it away from top spot) True Detective (This will undoubtedly fall in time since there is no McConaughey or Harrelson in season 2) Game Of Thrones (Didn't think it would work on TV, glad to have been proved wrong) House Of Cards (Great show, love the way its filmed and all the performances) Sons Of Anarchy (Another great show that has got better with time, and one of the most brutal TV deaths I have ever seen) Mad Men (Captures the whole 60s vibe brilliantly imo, again great cast and characters) Oz (Underrated imo, arguably started the trend for modern 'gritty' TV dramas) Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Fuck you, I could watch Sarah Michelle Gellar all day) I would say Breaking Bad is on a level with a Boardwalk Empire, which I prefer, or The Walking Dead, which should be cancelled.

Lost should have probably ended after 4 seasons, Prison break after 2 but they were too popular to stop early

Ok have no problem with most of your inclusions. I'm not a Buffy fan, too corny for me, but I know it's held in high regard. I consider BB in the upper echelon of TV dramas after the Sopranos and GOT and just before Mad Men. Please dont mention WD in the same breath as BB. WD is garbage. The acting and writing is horrible. I hate watch it only because the comics are so good and much more dramatic than the show.

The first two seasons of PB were very good but the rest of it was nonsense. Especially when they were put in a Panamanian jail. I'm a lost defender. I believe the first three seasons are up their with anything thats ever been on TV. It went a little over board in some of the later seasons but I was more emotionally invested in the characters on that show than another show Ive watched with the exception of the Wonder Years.

tonight's the Emmy's, Breaking Bad and True Detective are the front runners for most awards but Mad Men should win but Hollywood is ran by the Jews and methheads...just kidding.
Mad Men will probably win a lot of awards next year after their series ends.
God bless.

Breaking Bad will win best series by default, even though it should be True Detective.

McConaughey and Harrelson put in 2 of the best performances I've seen in a long time.

watched some of the season 3 finale 'Full Measure' and season 4 first episode 'Box Cutter' yesterday on AMC's mini marathon, with Gale's conclusion....good stuff.
wish i would've watched the show in more of a chronological order originally.
God bless.

I think the one before the last episode is one of the best episodes i've ever watched in any series.
BB was an amazing series but still over-rated imo, some people say its the best series ever been released!
