Noel mentioned in the making of the album video that he had originally recorded the album, and then when he brought in Dave Sardy, he made Noel re-record all the songs. Maybe these are the original versions, before Noel re-recorded with Sardy.
Pupmed to hear a studio version of Freeky Teeth, hopefully it rocks out as hard as the live versions.

Next step in this perfect marketing campaign : re-release of the record with Freaky Teeth on it. You know it'll happen.

Stand alone single pls Only way I'd buy another version of the album is if it had Freaky Teeth, with A Simple Game of Genius, and Alone on the Rope. I want a copy with Alone on the Rope. That would be make a re-release very enticing for me.

I doubt Noel would risk putting Alone on The Rope and Genius on the tracklisting. He's always very picky about it so Freak Teeth, to me, would be the only addition. BUT i could see a new version with a second disk including all the bsides.

I think its a copy and past job. I mean, both DVDs would fit on a single BluRay for a start. Only if they were in DVD resolution. If the videos are in proper 1080p then you'll get about as much video on there as you would on the average DVD, about 2.5 hours before you'd have to reduce the bitrate to make the file size.

Lord of The Rings:FOT is 3 hours long and full HD so all of the footage on the two DVD version of the release would come up to about three odd hours, needing only one blu-ray disc

You guys think there is any chance of getting the Led Zeppelin-influenced 10 minute version of Record Machine that was mentioned around 2009?
That's what I'm hoping for.

LDSMD was 2 dvd's and that fit onto one blu-ray. Gives me hope it is a cut and paste and the blu-ray comes in the hardback book with cd, otherwise its a case of waiting to pick up both when they're cheap. Not in a rush for this anyway, more excited for blu-ray release of Magical Mystery Tour the week before.

Great stuff can't wait to hear a studio recording of freaky teeth! An absolute tune that is. Interesting to see alternatives for the HFB songs as well, I'm not keen on some production like if I had a gun... and record machine, maybe I'll prefer the demo's. That Beatles release sounds good as well, shame I don't have blu ray though

...That Beatles release sounds good as well, shame I don't have blu ray though From what we can tell the Magical Mystery Tour DVD will have the same bonus features as the blu-ray. The deluxe version comes with a vinyl reproduction of the original EP and extra artwork but the video content seems to be same on all three releases (blue-ray, DVD and deluxe). Do you guys reckon the dvd will be region free? or? Probably yes, but I'm not sure. Which one do you have in Australia? We have PAL here in Europe, but our DVD player plays NTSC as well. Same here in Australia - in fact most of the DVD players sold here will play all regions. Not sure about blu-ray players. I think they're still locked to Australia's region.

what are the Beatles releasing? God bless. Magical Mystery blu ray Oh great. So now we can see how awful a film that is but now in high definition. Great songs. Horrible movie if you can even call it that.
