Anyone with the Blu Ray already: Does it say if its 1080p on the back? or is it 1080i? Also thanks carlober for the artwork. 1080i Uh oh. Same as Lord Don't Slow Me Down. Some American fans are going to be in for a shock when their Blu Ray arrives.

If you want the CD in 320kbps, go to the Pirate Bay.

just go the cd. impressions, EOTR, Fallen Angel and I'd Pick you everytime really are highlights.
Soldier Boys, Stranded, Ride the tiger, and Dream on, Freaky teeth are plodding and horrid.
However BIG respect to the guy who did the EOTR Demo Strings mix, that sounds AMAMZING! BOSH!

Having listened to it all over the weekend, here are my thoughts
EOTR: Great. Absolutely fantastic. I have noticed a wee skip or something that happens at 4:04, it's like two different recordings that were mixed to extend the outro. I duno, maybe it's just my rip. Anywayz, great version of a great song. And the fan-made mix with strings and choir is phenomenal. 8/10
Dream On: I like the little change of lyrics "the blond bird's minging" and "there's not a lot to see", they're a nice change, along with Noel's "bada ba pa's" etc at end. Otherwise, it just goes from start to finish and not a lot of change in it. Terrible vocals though as are the programmed drums. 6/10
If I Had A Gun...: Great. Brilliant vocal, especially on the "... my eyes have always", so soft and delicate, yet absolutely astounding. 9/10
(People Who Would Be) The Death Of You And Me: Again, not much difference from the finished version. A bit of a change in tempo, but that echo-y like vocal effect is horrible. Great 'mouth-trumpet' though. 6/10
(I Wanna Live In A Dream In My) Record Machine: Not much change from the original Oasis demo or the Noel album version. Great to see that bass riff back after the first chorus though. Goes from start to end and that's about it. I'm 100% convinced that this was a demo recorded during the Oasis days, with a bit of fat added like the background noises, and never re-demoed for HFB. 5/10
Ride The Tiger AKA... What A Life: It's just the album version before it got polished. 6/10
Soldier Boys & Jesus Freaks: Not bad, never been a fan of this song really. Programmed drums and 'mouth-trumpet' again. I do miss that little echo effect on "juke box" at 1:21. Again not much different from the album version, just been polished up and the brass added. 6/10
Fallen Angel AKA... Broken Arrow: Great recording. Whilst most of the other demos haven't changed much in sound from their album versions, this was a welcome change. Sounds like it was recorded with EOTR & IIHAG. 9/10
(Stranded On The) Wrong Beach: Programmed drums again and slight vocal effect. Not much change from it's album namesake, the album version has simply been polished, but still one of Noel's best songs on the record. 7/10
Stop The Clocks: Start to finish, there isn't much to see or hear with this song. It's what we've all know it to be for some time now, not as exciting as what it was first hyped to be some eight years ago. I'm assuming this was the version that was recorded before the leaked Oasis-era demo, as there are no drums, guitar solo etc on it. Also that constantly looping "sound", which goes on for almost a full minute is annoying as hell. 4/10
The Good Rebel: Unpolished version of the finished article. Good song still. 7/10
I'd Pick You Every Time: Absolutely beautiful. A fantastic little number that is so unthreatening and un-Noel like that I can smile simply from listening to a few bars. Nice echo effect on the first two/three words of each line of the chorus. Sounds like this should have been the finished version and not the demo as vice versa with the released version. 8/10
Freaky Teeth: A great song that we've heard for some time now. Nice to finally get a studio recording of it. It's all a bit "House Of The Rising Sun", but that's a good thing. Great keyboards/organ sounds. Tambourine is a bit over bearing, but doesn't take away too much from the song. 7/10
Overall: 7/10

some demos as b-side is alright. I can't complain to get to hear all of this. but I don't think bands should do this. that's all. sure I'm curious to hear the demos of every record I like, but I don't think it's meant to be. seems like EVERYTHING gets released these days.
plus it makes little forum c*nts have opinions about another 14 tracks.

I highly doubt Noel release more than 5% of what he records, so i think we're fine on the "EVERYTHING gets released these days."
Seems like people find ways to complain about everything these days. Even a bonus demo CD on a DVD no one force them to buy.

Uh oh. Same as Lord Don't Slow Me Down. Some American fans are going to be in for a shock when their Blu Ray arrives. Shock? how so, over 1080i? MOST HD concerts are shot interlaced. Perhaps you're confusing this with 50hz BD that won't play back on 99% of American BD players. Like the UK version of LDSMD. Completely different subject/issue.

Are they "DEMOS"? Shit, I never realised still you're there with your rubbish ratings and all that as you probably do with every fucking record you listen to You don't know me so you're in no position to judge. But, just to clarify, I dont rate or review most records. Infact, this is probably the first time since Heathen Chemistry or even SOTSOG since I've thought about writing a review. You'd probably rate everything 10/10 cos you've got a massive hard on for Noel (I say "massive" figuratively, it's probably not that big). Anywayz, here's an idea, go fuck yourself you pretentious twat
