Got my blu ray in the post this morning. Loving the first couple of tracks on the demo CD, Makes worth buying it for the CD alone, The blu ray is a nice set the way they put the blu ray on one side and the CD on the other with the booklet. Everybody on the run and Broken Arrow are epic !

Comparisons were made with the studio version too, but you can really hear Wonderwall as the foundation of Broken Arrow's demo. Like it, though, but the studio version adds meat to it (as to be expected).

This has been asked a couple times but nobody has responded...on the If I Had A Gun demo, what lyrics come after "before the night is gone and..."? I can never quite make it out.
Also, I'm amazed at how cool some of these demos sound! The best ones for me are Everybody's on the Run, If I Had A Gun, and AKA Broken Arrow. I also think the vocal effect and "mouth trumpet" on The Death Of You And Me is fantastic.

Got my blu ray and CD this morning, watched it, a nice memento from the UK tour, would have liked to have seen a proper documentary from the tour though, rather than the clips.

Just to add: I thought it strange that Noel decided to name the song "Fallen Angel AKA... Broken Arrow" for this demo disc, I would have assumed he would have went with the original name of "Leave Me In Peace I'm On The Side Of The Angels"... would make more sense reallyI think

The main gigs in full mouth-watering (albeit grainy) full HD, so why the fuck are the extra gigs (at time) pixellated SD? The sounds perfect though, I suppose thats what matters.

IPYET does sound great, I stillllllll might take the final version over the demo. I just like the Nashville Skyline style on it.

It's grainy? that's excellent news. the way it should be. nothing worse when they DNR the hell out of blu ray, defeats the purpose of the format. as for SD for the extra gigs. im fine with that, after all they are only extras and my player up converts pretty good. looking forward to Monday  |
