So, for us Yanks...do we have any options here? Can I preorder the limited edition version and have it play on my DVD player? Wish the official site would update and spell all this out...I'd much rather go through them than recordstore, which canceled my last order for no reason and didn't refund my money. In my experience most concert DVDs lately have been Region Free NTSC so it should hopefully be the same in this case (last couple I got were from Suede, Biffy Clyro, and blur). Ironically it is the Region Free Blu Ray that may not work on all Blu Ray players in the US. Many concert and TV show Blu Rays from the UK are 1080i/50 which a lot of Blu Ray players in the US (including the PS3) can't display (the Lord Don't Slow Me Down Blu Ray suffered from this problem) My player doesn't have a problem displaying it but it can be a pain. Prolly the most important post for many here... People REALLY need to stop assuming "region free" means a blu ray will play anywhere in the world. It will NOT, necessarily. PAL and NTSC have different refresh rates: 50 and 60hz, respectively. The VAST majority of North American players CANNOT playback a PAL/50hz BD...I'd say 95+%, and as noted above this includes the PS3 and was the reason the LDSMD BD import/PAL would not playback. I managed to find an NTSC version of LDSMD on ebay but I'm unaware of an "official" NTSC release so it could very well be a "Mexico'd" number, sorry to my Mexican friends, but there's a LOT of this that goes on there and in China, simple as that. Now, I would think there will be an NTSC version of this available and especially so if the official site lists a N/S American version, but I'd caution those in the America's "pre-ordering" the UK (or elsewhere) version to ensure they're getting a version they can play or have a BD player that can play back PAL discs. Region Free? Great...now watch for PAL or NTSC. BTW: I just checked the Noel site and although it makes no specific mention of the format, I'd like to think that if ensure you switch it (the site format) to "USA" that you'd get an NTSC version.

back to the wording debate we had - Exclusive CD - 'Faster Than The Speed Of Magic' - featuring demos of all the album tracks, B sides and 'Freaky Teeth'. that's the official release, its pretty clear to me now that Freaky Teeth wont be a demo Nah, there would need to be an 'and' instead of the comma before B-sides and then another comma before 'and Freaky Teeth.' if that was the intended meaning.

Was wondering if the blu ray comes with the special packaging in the hard back book style or if its packaged differently ? Take it you get an extra cd with the blu ray and its not all on the one blu ray disc.

From the informations on the various websites (amazon, recordstore) it looks like the blu-ray version comes in a standard blu-ray case. The hardback book seems to be an exclusive of the 2 DVD +CD limited edition, which is the main reason I've decided to but that one instead of the blu-ray. By the way, I'll buy the blu-ray too when the price will drop

Does anyone know if you get the extra demo CD with the blu ray as amazon is saying the blu ray is 1 disc.

Not entirely true about PAL and NTSC being gone. HD TV in the UK is 1080i/50hz while in America it is 1080i/60hz. Many US Blu Ray players (including the Playstation 3) are unable to display discs encoded at 1080i/50hz which unfortunately is what many UK TV shows and concert Blu Rays are encoded at (Lord Don't Slow Me Down is 1080i/50hz and does not work despite being region free) I have a player that can display 1080i/50hz so I'm good either way but as yet I've been unable to find out if this is a 1080p, 1080i/50hz, or 1080i/60hz release. If you've got Lord Don't Slow Me Down on Blu Ray and it works you are all set either way but if not people might want to Google their player to see if it is compatible. Fingers crossed that it is 1080p.

one thing that bugs me is that all the press releases don't list a lord don't slow me demo, yet say that the cd features demos for 'all album tracks and b-sides' - wish theyd get the facts straight (be great if they have tho and the track listing is the error) Sorry, I don't mean to sound rude but why would there be a Lord Don't Slow Me Down Demo on the CD? Do You Mean Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me? lmao indeed i do

ummmmmm, excuse me? Completely incorrect re no PAL or NTSC re blu ray. Try picking one up and looking at it. There's a REASON why hundreds of "region free" BLU RAYS do NOT PLAY on American PS3's and other BD players. Get your facts together before continuing to spread information that is 100% incorrect. thanks in advance.

This afternoon the Man City facebook page posted a link to the video of Noel watching the Man City QPR game last season. I remember Noel mentioning this in an interview and saying that it'd be on the "behind the scenes" DVD. Anyway, the link Man City posted was broken and they posted a few minutes later saying that it would be fixed within the hour. However, now all the posts have been removed. I wonder if Noel's people had it taken down. The behind the scenes stuff was scrapped wasn't it?

He looked close to tears at the end of the gig in L'pool last Thursday. I guess he didn't expect these reactions this far into his tour.
