Hello, I recently bought 2 front row tickets for NGHFB Bangkok Gig – one for myself, one form my girlfriend. The thing is in the rush end excitement of buying the tickets I …forgot my GF is pregnant The gig is in September, she’ll be 6 months is by than. Do you think it’s safe for her to go? I’m not worried about the noise level – it’s ok for 2 hours. But I wonder does it get rough up there, in front of the stage? Like it used to I the good, old Oasis times? I’ve seen them a few times and it always involved a fair amount of jumping and pushing around. It seems that Noel’s sets are much more mellow (no R&R Star or C&A kind of stuff) but I thought I’d ask, just to be on the safe side. Can’t wait for the gig – for the first time I’ll be walking to the venue, not driving for hours across Europe. Cheers! Maciek

Seated you should be fine, but i know that at the front people go absolutely mental to stuff like mucky fingers and EOTR.

I don't know if it's seated, but if not, better find a place where she can rest if she needs it. Better not to go up the front. Be safe and enjoy the gig. Take good care of your girlfriend and let us know when your baby is born!

just don't go right in front of the stage or in the middle of the audience. then it should be fine.

I was at the o2 with LOOOOOADS of people and it didn't go too wild - Mucky Fingers and stranded on the wrong beach got a bit messy (as did everyone for the revvies) but you should be ok - why not try standing a bit further back?

I saw the thread title and thought you got some girl pregnant at the gig and were trying to find her ;D it depends on the audience. some people in some countries are quieter than others. people in South America tend to go crazier than others. as long as you don't go to the front and center, you should be ok. enjoy the gig!

It's not very crazy, people aren't jumping around on Talk Tonight you know. Do go front cause you can be push to the barrier, but that's it really, the rest is very very very very calm.

We're very far from the level of madness and jumping un and down of a rocknroll star during an HTWA. Seems logical right? Stop being so sensitive.

Thanks all! Very helpful and much appreciated! I guess I should have bought a sitting ticket for her but what’s done is done. I’ve never been to a gig in Bangkok before and It’s hard to predict what the crowd will be like. Thais are pretty mellow on everyday basis but you can’t say the same thing about all the expats living here. We’ll just stand a little to the back and enjoy the beginning of my baby’s musical education By the way – the whole baby thing reminds me of this: www.noelgallagher.com/#inbox/noel/can-you-touch-my-stomach-and-bless-my-babycheers!

Well congratulations on the baby and the front row to Noel Gallagher! I was front row to Noel Gallagher in November and it wasn't like anyone was pushing/shoving/crazy. Here's my advice if you decide to go: Make sure security knows she's pregnant, that way they can assist or step in if anything does get crazy. And if it were me, I'd be telling the people around me to. I've been front row at some shows (BDI) that there WAS some pushing and shoving, and the guys around me were cool and helped to push others off me. So don't be afraid to talk to those people around you and you may find that they help out too if anything goes awry. And don't forget to shout it out loud (ha!) to Noel that your baby is at the concert! I'm sure he'll chat it up with you from the stage ) Enjoy the show!!
