People call this rock. I call this being disrespectful to your fans. Liam only has himself to blame for his tragic voice.

Whereas yours remains unclear. Not really. This is from the other day. 'On record there is still no doubt in my mind that Liam is a great singer. With a rested voice and not pushing to hard in the studio environment he can still produce amazing vocals. He just can't manage sustained touring, he's 40, enjoyed himself a lot in the past and has sung in a style not conducive for longevity. He still has enough if you are at the gigs but I can understand why it would disappoint people listening back to them. If you don't like it though don't bother with it, are some of the people on here going to repeat the same points about Liam after every performance on every tour? I think a bit of acceptance is needed and then we can debate and discuss more worthwhile subjects. Noel is a much improved singer, he is quite competent if uninspiring.'

like not showing up to the V festival gig in 09. so respectful! Just as respectful as Noel walking out on the band in the 1994 US tour, as respectful as walking out of the European tour in 2000? And if you are going to mention the 2009 gigs then that will be as respectful as Noel walking out 5 minutes before the gig in Paris and then causing the last 2 gigs to be cancelled too? Noel and Liam have both been disrespectful to the fans at some point but at least be fair if you are going target Liam and acknowledge Noel has been just a bad.

Noel missed more gigs than Liam in Oasis history. Funny how quick they forget, the last one he missed is easy to remember since it cause the split, but no they keep forgetting it only to remember the unplugged forever.

Has Noel pulled out of a whole tour before? I'm not sure, but I know Liam has. Besides, it's one thing pulling a show because you've fallen out with your dickhead of a brother, but it's something else drinking so much before a show that you either don't show up or behave like an utter twat onstage (MTV unplugged, France 97, Wembley 00, MTV awards etc).

Liam only missed a few gigs because of medical reasons or because it was 1996 and he was a selfich young rockstar but always came back quickly. Noel on the other hand, missed the whole european tour of SOTSOG. Liam and co carried on whithout him, but he was there to cash out. Liam behave like a rockstar and every example you gave is at least 12 years ago. And you find more escuse for a grown up man in his 30's or 40's, to not come to play in front of an audience waiting for him, aka doing his JOB, just because he has a fight with his brother ? Is it a reason to leave a tour? Is it a reason to leave 5 minutes before a gig with 10000 people waiting for him? Liam was just being a rockstar in the 90's, not the first, not the last, not an escuse for everything, but he has grown up since. But franckly Noel acted like an utter twat and a spoiled kid by missing all those gigs because his brother was mean to him.

Now he realises he's fucked without big bro so he's suddenly mad for an Oasis reunion. And going out on the piss all night hardly constitutes 'medical reasons'

But it is what it is a regret, not an argument to blame Liam for everything over and over after 16 years.

You can blame Liam, it was his fault after all. But using it as a stick to beat him with now and for other things seems a bit stupid.
I'm still gutted myself he didn't do it.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here exactly anticipated this kind of reactions when they saw the thread title. Myself included of course.

This thread needs to end now, its just the same old Noel-Liam debate people like leak4ever love to have, I mean bringing up the unplugged gig from '96... What's that got to do with Noel calling beady eye an oasis tribute band? Noel trolls stay in Noel's section, Liam fanboys ignore the trolls like leak4ever and Hugose then a "nothing" thread like this which should be a maximum of 2 pages isnt stretched over 8 pages
