And if any of you can't tell the difference between Gem playing Wonderwall and Noel playing Wonderwall, then you're obviously not very good fans. You're right. Gem plays the part BETTER. Don't you dare cite stupidity on my part when it is evident to anyone reading this board that you're more than a few shillings short of a pound. I could cite countless reasons as to why your "logic" regarding the songwriter being present is flawed, but it's fairly obvious that I would be wasting my time since you appear to have a severely limited knowledge of the world of music. Not to mention that you completely fail to acknowledge the fact that LG sang the original version of the song and that's all that anyone cares about. You're a man with a fork in a world of soup. Calm down eat a cookie hell eat a box of cookies and have sex but wear a condom

Noel hardly does anything on the record though, his "backing vocals" are more like echoes really and he says like three words a couple of times, it's not really much lacking without it. The only thing that was lacking was Liam's voice to a certain extent but it was still very good for a 39 year old rock star who's been singing for 20 years. But does it not add something? Absolutely it does. Sounds better with than without. I said that it was a good preformance. But there is so much hyperbole here. It's a good version...hardly his best vocal ever. It might even be It does definitely add something I'll give you that but it's not like it needs it, like live forever in 2000 without Noel needed his vocals rather than none at all. Noel on wonderwall does add something but not a great deal. Also I don't know that anyone is under the allusion that it's his best vocal ever...

Disagree with that. Beady Eye were brilliant and it didnt need Noel, or anyone else influence... I second that, it seems gdforever wants Noel to be there for the sake of it I wanted him there for the backing vocals. Or Andy or Gem could have done them. Whatever. The song lacks a little something without backing vocals. Not saying it wasn't good. Liam did Oasis proud

Suppose the thought of 'how to make it better' will always be present in any post-oasis gig. But its abit like saying 'Wind Up Dream would sound better if Eminem provided a verse mid song' it probably would, but it doesnt so therefore its pretty irrelevent.
Id have loved to have seen Brian May pull Jessie Js jumpsuit off during We Will Rock You, he didnt. Such is life.

Better without any IMO like morning glory chorus should be left for the crowds to sing in Noel's absence

"e;Wonderwall doesn't sound the same without noel there" This is what I was responding to. It does sound different and it does lose a bit of something. FACT.

It was a good performance he really tried but it did miss backing vocals to make the sound richer and less flat in my opinion and also Who the fuck is Andy Bell(seriously electric guitar was mixed way too low)

It doesn't sound different except for"the saves me" bit. Wich I said in the post you've cut. That's it, there's absolutely no other difference. People complaining about Noel not being there weren't saying that, they were basically saying his heveanly presence makes the song better. But it's a fucking rythm guitar, no difference AT ALL, except for the short backing vocal at the end. And franckly considering the performance I really don't care about them.

Funny how you're always calling people liar and to prove everything they say everytime they exagarate something and now you're the one who's doing it and you're too tired.... In your FACE Fucking brilliant! My god as an American I am absolutely jealous at just how massive the musical difference is when comparing the quality of music that you Brits have. As for Beady Eye they just seriously blew all the other live acts out of the water and into the outer limits of space. My god how incredible, Liam's voice was just electrifying and smooth. Liam and the boys really don't need Noel. The performance was quite possibly THE best Wonderwall performance ever so Stepout please shut the hell up about that nonsense your spewing. Good job Beady Eye! I really was too tired. Unlike all your lying when you could couldn't back it up if you tried

That's it, there's absolutely no other difference. You didn't even bother to go back and edit to quote to make that the truth. I think it's normal to not like everything they do or they think. But when I read stuff like "Noel is Oasis", or "Wonderwall doesn't sound the same without noel there" or "Bdi is an oasis cover band" I think it's shoking for an Oasis fan to say. To me, it's being a Noel Gallagher fan, and a blind one maybe but not an Oasis fan. (spaneli don't feel the need to anwser me, I won't reply to you anymore, I'm tired of it)

And I am pretty sure there were a couple others. Already proved my point that you don't even register comments as long as the hyperbole is in favor of BDI. And even if only he said it. That's as many people as said Noel IS Oasis which you felt the need to rant against

Would you at least admit that the arrangement /musical orchestration were the best ever for wonderwall live? (eve if it was pre recorded).

Andys guitar definitely should have been louder, and that would have made the arrangement even better

It is definitely the second best studio recorded version of Wonderwall... Electric guitar should have been louder...and with it being pre recorded there is no reason for it to be so low. Strings were beautiful though. Best thing about it was that the barely changed the arrangement. Closest it's ever been to the album version (save using strings instead of a mellotron) I've put in my 8 cents. Go about your business. No point in talking to some that lies and doesn't admit when they have been proven wrong
