The lengths they're going to to try and get Reigns over is staggering, and it's still not working. The cheers when bad guy HHH threw him out says it all really.

Was really hoping they were going to take the chance to give the belt to someone else (Wyatt? He's supposed to be the leader of a monster heel faction but all he does is lose) and create a new top main eventer but it's not to be, he's probably just going to lose at Mania (again) to Lesnar. They could still have had HHH throw out Reigns to continue that story and had Bray win but oh well. Half the reason WWE is shite nowadays is because they're incapable of building more than one guy at once, Reigns has gone over the entire roster in the last year which means nobody else is a credible winner.

wwe is screwed in the long term imo, they are relying on older guys that wont be around for a lot longer (even guys like lesnar and cena) and basically refusing to push the newer guys, AJ styles was a desperate move to improve roster depth after all the injuries, though Im happy hes there I doubt wwe will do much with him because hes not one of their own, and the fact he faced chris jericho on raw speaks something imo, I like the storyline between lesnar and the wyatt family but its a lose lose outcome, either lesnar is going to come out bad and lose his momentum (which probably wont happen) or hes going to defeat braun strowman at some point and ruin his character (likely to happen).

WWE is relying on legends etc to boost ratings and that cant last forever, they are going to find themselves up shit creek one day.

Was a massive wrestling fan throughout my youth and always like the nostalgia of the good old days. Watched Wrestlemania last year and thought it was great and just watched the Rumble knowing nothing what happened in between and thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

I think these two events are enough for me throughout the year to enjoy what I still can from the sport (-s entertainment). It was ruined since WCW was bought out and despite TNA induction they were fighting a losing battle.

Even after a decade of not watching it I still recognise a lot of the faces which shows they haven't progressed in some time and won't now they have a huge money maker in the PG era.

To be fair, ufc is just as staged as wwe.
