I cant believe this...i just got ticket for Neil young in Vanocuver a week after this and now Noel decides he's coming to my beloved hometown?? Geez...what am I going to do. In any case..
Noel in Winnipeg >> Neil Young in Vancouver but..
now that I have a full time job I cant just take a couple days off in the middle of the week. Oh if onyl the gig was on a weekend night...
I will figure something out. I HAVE to be there.

Will he be playing his full regular show set or a shortened version since he's sharing billing? Good question. He must have to... Oasis shortened theirs during the Tour of Brotherly Love right? Yes. Oasis only played about 12 songs if I remember correctly. I still say Oasis and the Black Crowes should have rotated who headlined each night. I stayed for the Crowes but so many people were there just for Oasis. Seemed more dull when the Crowes went on. Strange tour though. Played ZERO new songs.

Played ZERO new songs. the Black Crowes are more popular in the u.s. than Oasis so it makes sense that they headlined. it was odd they weren't promoting an album for those shows but just seeing Noel play 'can't you hear me knocking?' with the Black Crowes was great. God bless.

I'll take any chance to see Oasis. The Crowes + Noel & Gem covering "I Dig Love" was also great!

Finally Noel at the Ryman! It's a match made in Heaven. Seeing as I go to school in Nashville I finally won't have to travel to see him.

Anyone going to the TX dates? My plan is to go to the three of them, would be nice to know if someone is driving so we can share expenses.

I'll be in there in Dallas, but probably can't afford the time expense to go to Austin or Houston. This would be the best news of the day for me, except my son was born at 3:10 this afternoon. Cheers!

Is it wrong for me to complain that he's not touring ANYwhere near me? I don't even have a shot if he did tour NYC, I moved too damn far away from anywhere he'd tour anyway. Fuck! No chance in hell Noel would come to Florida...

On one hand I want him to add more tour dates, on the other I don't think I'd pay to see Snow Patrol and a short set. What audience is Noel hoping to gain by playing with them? Non-music fans?

I don't think you'll find many young people listening to Snow Patrol.
