KTDA: Its a poor attempt at trying to write a Noel era Brit Pop anthem. As seen in 1997 but every band and their mothers e.g. Menswear. Nothing special but not terrible either (unlike menswear).
LLAB one of the best songs on DBTT? More like one of the worst ever oasis songs and probably Liam's worst vocal take on any record.
Liam's voice? It sounds good at the start of a tour and he's more consistent with BDI thanks to the smaller venues and the much lower volume output. If Liam was to do another Oasis tour he'd sound as good/bad as the DOYS tour.

and if I was to put on Love Like a Bomb to a mate and tell him it is one of the album's highlight, I think he would just leave wondering what caused me brain damage, really

well i think it is a really nice simple song, just like SOngbird, which i also love. you may call it shitty songwriting, with just the 2 chords repeated again and again, but i love it. the simple melodies are usually the best. remember hey jude?

Yeah the difference is Hey Jude is one of the greatest songs of all time and LLAB simply isn't anything other than filler. Bad filler at that.

Lyrics are sub-par anarl what was the quote Noel slated KTDA? I wasn't aware of this. On the DBTT doc Noel said Andy played him 3 demos immediately Noel wanted TUTS and KTDA as album tracks. |

dont know which interview, but he said something like: "you know, liam can be sitting there with a guitar, playing just two chords over and over again, till someone tells him, hey, this is a nice melody..." whatever, noel is noel, i think it was probably just a joke, maybe same as when he talked about KTDA, cause wow, thats a huge song, i always sing it along. really catchy.

Even if the 2 chords does refer to Songbird all that he says is that it's a nice melody...hardly a slate.  Stop trying to stir the pot. There is enough tension in the fanbase without people making things up.   KTDA is OK. Hardly classic. Good filler though. I could do without the last minute and a half though. A lot like many of the BDI songs.  Everything after Liam starts nanana-ing I could do without. I like some of the lyrics though |

Also, just because someone doesn't like KTDA doesn't mean they don't like it because of an off the cuff comment by Noel on a DVD extra.
