And last, but definitely not least; Noels backing vocals. hmm, MG without Noels backing vocals... Of all the songs they could have picked, why did they pick one where Noel's vocals are so prominent? The "weellll" part isn't even a backing vocal, it's part of the main vocal that Liam can't sing anymore.

They sound like an Oasis cover band..and not a good one at that.. When will they understand that three things made Oasis - Liam, Noel and Noel's guitar. Just doesn't sound right without Noel's guitar. All this Oasis cover band should really stop. LIAM IS OASIS, when he sings an oasis song, he just sings his back catalogue, same for Noel. They choose MG because it's a great song live, their version is great, the crow takes the "welll" part well enough. The crow seems to go mental during the song. I can't imagine someoone being there complainiing of this version. When I see the videos, I see this jump up and down spirit, the atmopshere seems crazy just like old time with Oasis gig. That's really what's missing at HFB gig, there are good singalong, but the atmosphere is much calmer, nobody ever jumps around. It's all too calm.

Paul McCartney shouldn't sing John Lennon penned Beatles songs, just as Liam shouldn't sing Noel penned Oasis songs. If he wants to sing Oasis, he should sing his amazing back catalog of Songbird and Little James.

All this Oasis cover band talk is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard. Rock N' Roll Star and Morning Glory wouldn't be anything without Liam's vocals and I was there at Warrington and they were absolutely fantastic versions. Just enjoy Liam singing Oasis again ffs instead of finding something to complain about. Who the f*ck are you to tell me when I can and cannot criticise something? And Liam sounded shite in the last 7 years of Oasis so it wasn't something I particularly longed for. To me, the songs sounded much better when they weren't played in desperation Calm down lad and just enjoy the fact that these songs are being played again

Liam shouldn't sing DLBIA since he didn't sing on it in studio, same for Noel, he shouldn't sing LAG song since he didn't sing on it. But Liam has every right to play every song he sung on. He can even sing sorpio rising if he wants. As long as he sang on a song, it's part of his back catalogue as much as it is for the songwritter. That's just the way music works. Ever heard of Elvis? And if you're dreaming of Noel accoustic version of RNR star, we just don't, we want to hear it in its right form. Liam made the songs what they are, his voice and delivery made the songs what they are, they belong to him as much as Noel, if you can't understand that, you are an absolute idiot that has not understood anything about Oasis.

If the guy who made a song famous can't sing it cause the writer isn't standing next to him, then who the fuck can?
Where's the outrage over BE singing a World Of Twist song? Or Oasis doing I Am The Walrus, My Generation, Hey Hey, My My, Street Fighting Man, Cum on Feel the Noize, Helter Skelter, or Heroes? They definitely didn't have anything to do with those.
It's not like BE started playing Dream On, What A Life, or If I Had A Gun.. If that was the case I could understand the people complaining about something that really doesn't matter at all. Right now I don't understand the people complaining about something that really really doesn't matter at all. And it kind of makes my head hurt a bit...

i agree with everything Mr. Sifter said.
This could only be a good thing for Beady Eye. I would love to hear what other Oasis songs they add to the mix with a proper tour.

BDI aren't like Noel, playing the same setlist over and over. I can see songbird being added during the real tour, as well as another classic, maybe Live forever or Supersonic.

I was gonna write a long rebuttal but having watched the video of Rock and Roll Star at Warrington video again, I have to say it is good to hear the song live again. I missed it.
Ah to hell with it, power to you BDI.
Watched it again...yeah, got the chills...
