Judging from the photos...looks like a "fun"...summertime kind of video....I suppose only Stranded on the wrong beach would fit if it was another track off the album. Unless the photo shoot is not what it seems, it would seem to be the most logical fit. ...Record machine and EIOTR are too cinematical and epic for this...and SBAJF and BA are too theme driven to be this "fun" ......SOTWB has a bouncy summer feel to it. Unless this is a new song altogether I hope against hope it is a cool video and that its freaky teeth as a summer release of sorts!!!!!

I also hope it's Freeky Teeth. too many singles off the album already Quite literally, if it's a 5th single I'll be severely disappointed. It makes no sense to do a 5th single. Dream On was barely in the charts for a cup of coffee, a 5th single will not do much better. Even if it is propped up by a couple of new b-sides. A 5th single will not give him any kind of boost and he's touring till September. If the single does chart it will fall out of the charts like a rock. It has no chance of staying power at the moment. Any money he puts into a 5th single is a waste of money in my opinion. It better be a Standalone EP. |

Yeah I'd hope for Freeky Teeth. If it is the same actors, I dunno how this video fits in with "The Trilogy" idea.

It's not even the trilogy. It's 5th freakin song. The Trilogy thing was cool for the trilogy, but now I think it's a bit played out. I'm hoping that the reason everyone is in this video is because they're doing a Standalone Single with two of the supporting tracks being the AA version of WAL and TDOYAM and that it only makes sense to have the continuity for the video. But that sounds like a stretch. I'm starting to resign myself to the disappointment that this is for a fifth and what I hope to be a final single for the album.  |

It could be 1 of 3 things:
1. New single off NGHFB. The only song i think could be a single is Everybody's On The Run.
2. Promo video to promote the AA album (summer release).
3. A brand new summer EP with God Help Us All. Noel did play it at the Mexico soundcheck. It can include:
Revolution Song
God Help Us All
Freaky Teeth
untitled soundcheck song
Don't Think Twice, It's All Right (Dylan)
maybe even throw in Alone On The Rope.

I'm hoping that Noel realized the AA album is taking too long and recorded some of his older stuff (God Help Us All, Revolution Song) to fill the gap between the albums. I'm pretty sure though that the description for the "Songs from the Great White North" EP said "...the b-sides to the four singles released from the NGHFB album so far", so a Record Machine or EOTR single is possible as well...

As long as we get a new B-Side I don't care what the song is, whether its Freaky Teeth or a 5th Single. Plus I like collecting this shit so its win win for me.

It can't possibly be a FIFTH single, can it? Would Noel go along with that? Did Oasis ever put out 5 singles? HFB was a big success in the UK but its not like it put up WTSMG numbers.

WTSMG is the last time he's put out 5 singles. If you count radio singles. It seems weird for him to put out a 5th considering that its impact will be minimal at best in terms of sales for the album. Also his tour will be stretching to September. A 5th single won't keep up interest through the festival season to September. Considering a Noel related album hasn't had more than 3 singles since HC, 5 singles seem like a lot. |

A 'Freaky Teeth' release seems to be the most logical choice. It is the only way it will even have a chance of being relevant in the charts. Gotta offer up something fresh and new. Something the fans don't already have. Hopefully two cool b-sides will be attached if this does happen. Interesting news nevertheless.

Completely agree geezer but it's not as if Noely is averse to making money ;-)
The fact all the old actors are in it points to it being related to the HFB album rather than something new sadly.
Of course another possibility is that he's been lying about the AA delays and now HFB is out the charts a new album is about drop in our inboxes Radiohead style...
