Sorry if it's been discussed already, but what is the best Pretty Green shop to visit in the UK? (And why do you recommend it?) I've been in a few - Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. Honestly they have all been much of a muchness - the staff have been brilliant in all of them, particularity in the Manchester store I have to say. I would not be surprised if the London store is bigger than those ones though. London store isn't bigger than Manchester's. Manchester and Tokyo stores are both located in a small streets, away from the main street which I liked. Store clerk in Tokyo told me that I should come back when Liam plays in Japan as he always visits the store. We have a couple of stores where you can buy Pretty Green items in this clogland now.

Sorry if it's been discussed already, but what is the best Pretty Green shop to visit in the UK? (And why do you recommend it?) I've only been to 3 Pretty Green shops - Manchester, London (Carnaby Street) and Tokyo and I absolute loved ones in Manchester and Tokyo. Gorgeous shops and the shop clerks were superb. I didn't buy anything at all, but I was allowed to take all those pictures of Liam which were hanging on the wall and above stairs. I've talked with a very kind shop clerk about Oasis, Noel and Liam all the time in PG shop in Tokyo as we were only customers in the shop. But for you question, I'm sure Jim will have the answer, natalie. Sorry if it's been discussed already, but what is the best Pretty Green shop to visit in the UK? (And why do you recommend it?) If the original Glasgow shop was still open I’d have said that, it had a buzz about it but now I’d say the Carnaby one is the best. The vast majority of the others have all been remodelled over the last couple years and are very similar in design. Ever since they went mainstream they have kinda pulled away from the original minimal style. Glasgow and Edinburgh’s staff are always great company when I’ve been in them.

Standard china t-shirt with a PG logo on it. Nothing special.

Thank you Mimi, Globe and Jim! I've been to the one on Carnaby, in fall of last year. My family is taking vacation to the UK and I'm over the top excited to be able to take my husband to a Pretty Green shop - he's a massive Oasis fan! I really appreciate all of the info!!

Is just me or has the brand gone majorly down hill in the last couple of years? I used to buy a good 5/6 items from every range, don’t think I’ve bought anything aside from jeans for a good year now. Maybe I’m just getting sensible in my old age ☺️
There’s always been “eccentric” items as long as PG has existed but I just feel that 90% of the stuff these days is tat, and the few items that are decent are prohibitively expensive (those made in England jackets for example that are £300+).

The Made in England stuff is stunning and absolutely worth the money. What I'm more concerned about are the constant sales. A slap in the face of the (few?) ones who bought at regular prices. Devaluates the brand and raises questions about their business model.

It’s not even like the old days when you were risking it going out of stock if you didn’t buy full price.

It’s not even like the old days when you were risking it going out of stock if you didn’t buy full price. And let's be honest: this is the main reason to buy clothes at full price. It's about the fashion not about the need to have something to wear. If that reasons's gone because a brand is basically in constant sale: why bother and buy stuff at full price? In the last couple of years I bought less and less non-sale PG stuff and I guess I'm not the only one. Edit: Another letdown is that their current collections are so huge that 90% of the stuff consists of standard items with the only "special thing" being a PG logo and remakes of old stuff they've been offering for years. I don't like the direction the brand is heading to at all and hope they'll get back to the old days they were more into exclusivity and quality and less into mass market.

Best thing PG have done in a while Indeed! I really don't buy much from PG at all any more. Me neither. Too many recycled designs, to many sales. Btw: Paisley Sub posted a first pic of the upcoming PG x Beatles: White Album collection

Standard china t-shirt with a PG logo on it. Nothing special. You're killing my buzz! I'm probably not getting the t-shirts, anyway; I prefer tees with a cotton/polyester blend, maybe with a little spandex to accentuate my breasts. Thanks.

to accentuate my breasts. In this case, wearing menswear is probably a bad idea anyway cause it's usually cut to hide breasts

I went to buy a pair of the gold 'Famous' shades the other day, but disappointingly they're fucking massive.
I'm lucky enough that most shades suit me, but I'd have looked like a right twat in them.
Shame, they're dead nice and different to any I have but oh well, save my money haha

I'm gonna pass when I can get Prada or Burberry for half that here in Texas.

They generally are in stock all year. If you time it right they’re in the sale and closer to £60 than £100.

I picked up a couple of t-shirts , 20 quid each in white and navy, usual excellent quality for the price with the paisley print on the back of the neck.
