Has anyone bought the Deansgate Parka? I'm looking for a bit of sizing advice. I'm an XL for the Felton and Harrington jackets but I've read on Amazon reviews that would be too big and I should probably size down so any advice is appreciated.

You need to go one size down from what you'd usually pick Jim I think, that's what I've been told.

Thanks great shout, I thought of them after I posted and they came back quick with Rolo's advice to go one down. Think I'll try and get up to one of the Glasgow stores to try the sizes. The navy Deansgate is down to £67, which is a great price.

I just went with my normal size and mine fits me fine (just to be difficult and go against everyone else's advice haha). £67 is a cracking price, almost tempts me to buy a second one...

It's a gorgeous thing the deansgate parka, I've got it in the vintage green colour. I'm around 6.1, so usually in between a medium and large for tees or jackets, but I got a medium and it fits like a dream. If anything, it could even be just a tad big on the sleeves, so I'd get smaller than you'd usually get if I were you.

He's 6-6.1 and takes a medium / large whereas I'm 5.11 but take large / x-large in PG. I'm broader in the chest and shoulders than him so I'm thinking a medium / large but will still try it on before buying. John Lewis have it in black for £62 with free delivery and returns so that maybe an option too. Need to get up to Glasgow but the weather is howling today!

I bought the navy Swedish parka in January, which I imagine would be similarly sized to the Deansgate. I went for the large which fits very well, even if I'm wearing something else underneath it. I'm 6'1" but reasonably thin.
If it's helpful, I get the t-shirts in a medium and the shirts and jackets in a large.

I've got that in black and it's by far the best jacket I've ever had. £90 is a steal. Was actually looking for a summer jacket and stumbled on that, it was the only one there and couldn't resist it Got 2 cardigans and 2 t-shirts for another £90 in total which wasn't bad, if I lived in the area i'd have hung on and gone back to see if I could have got it cheaper near the end of the day. Got my eye on this if comes down in price. There was another sale in Glasgow today, did you go Jim?

I did mate, never got anything as the jumper and jeans I liked were not in my size but I tried the Deansgate on and have ordered the navy one from Amazon for £62, should be here in the next couple of days.

I know this is a PG thread, but was wondering if anyone knew the brand of leather jacket Noel is wearing in this pic? Don't know, but there is a twitter account - twitter.com/NoelWears. Might get some joy asking them.

I think Pretty Green have excellent coats/jackets. I usually buy my jeans elsewhere, but took a punt on a pair from Pretty Green on sale. They arrived today, and I have to say they are nice jeans. Excellent fit and much better than I was expecting.
