here at work bored outta my mind, so here's a rather unique one for you to vote on i'm sure #6 will get many votes, but rather than being politically correct, i will be honest and cast a vote for my personal favorite out of this batch, 'keep the dream alive' (sorry noel).

I'll be politically correct and go with RM. RM is just on another level from the rest of those songs. Really should be a single and it trumps any of the above songs live. It's amazing to think that's it's probably only the 5th best on the album. And it's also the one song that would be an album highlight on just about any of the Oasis albums and definitely the post 2000 albums.

Idler's Dream is the most original song Noel has ever recorded or sung. It is a truly stand-alone track. Best track would be RM, but my favorite has to be ID.

So hard to pick! I voted for KTDA because it is just plain outstanding, even though Liams vox arent as great as they could be.
Idler's dream is the 2nd because its so unique and one of the best of the HC years.
Record Machine, more so for the demo version than the finished one, as its got one of my favourite solos.
Wind Up Dream - I don't question anyone's love for this track, I really like it too.
I'd rate both Dream on and KFAD the same as I love the verses but the choruses kind of disappoint.

All six songs are really good, Idler's Dream is a bit too slow for me - it just gets boring. Dream On, WUD and KFAD are great album tracks, however KTDA (my favorite on DBTT by far) and RM are in my Oasis top 20 - just a different league. Between those I went for Record Machine due to that incredible middle 8 (and the fact that both demo and album version are so good - I still prefer the demo, but the majestic, choir-driven album version has its moments too).

RM.
Idler's Dream is a real contender, though. Although I'm not a fan of how that incredible song ends.

RM. I don't particularly like the song but that "You can give me a reason..." part is so good not to vote for it.

I can't listen to Record Machine (and EOTR to a lesser extent) without being saddened by how great it would have sounded with Liam singing.
It just feels like a bit of a waste even though it is still great.

Idlers Dream
I love that tune. Although it was a toss up between that and Record Machine.

the politically correct thing is very well understood. The majority of this forum is very supportive of Noel. Now is it the Tea-Party (blind) kind of support? no, at least not all the time but like everything, that's really up for debate .
Like always, i couldn't care less about being "politically correct" so i'll go with what i truly feel in my heart of hearts and choose what i consider one of the last really good Oasis songs, Keep The Dream Alive. I quite like Dream On, actually a highlight of Noel's album, slightly better than KFAD, WUD and Record Machine are both quite forgettable imo.

I don't care that you prefer KTDA but why do you insist on assuming that board is being disingenuous in their opinons because they don't coincide with yours? That everyone else is just being politically correct and YOU are speaking truth to power? Thank you for not resorting to the moronic tag of fanboy that you have trademarked...but frankly dismissing people as just being politically correct isn't any better. Your are still insinuating that those that voted for Noel are ignorant or knowingly dishonest about their preferences. It's just rude. Please stop. You've been so much better recently...don't know why you felt the need to revert to type

You've been so much better recently...don't know why you felt the need to revert to type you just can't help yourself can you? first of all, chill woman. second, stop being so sensitive about what i or anyone else who doesn't share your opinion has to say. It is just that, an opinion. that's what "imo" stands for, in case you didn't know. If you don't care that i prefer KTDA then fine, keep it that way. I don't care about what you have to say either so save it. Finally, i am not insinuating anything, some people like Noel better, most people on this board are big time (loyal to a fault) Noel supporters, and then there's a few who just wanna do the "politically correct thing" I know because i've talked to quite a few of them via PM so there you go. You, on the other hand, are insinuating, or rather outright calling me a "moron". I don't appreciate that. I have no attacked you, we had an agreement but unfortunately you just can't help yourself and bite your tongue when someone says something you don't like. That's what it all comes down to. It's unfortunate but if that's the way things are gonna be, i'm fine with it. Just don't expect me to remain as cordial as i have been.

That's pathetic. To change your opinion to fit other people's opinions about music. And I don't believe people change their votes for political correctness.
I could understand not putting a reason...but voting against their opinions.
I never called you a moron. Don't put words in my mouth. I said the term 'fanboy' was moronic.
I also said that I wouldn't pull you up as long as you remained respectful of other peoples opinions which YOU said you you were going to be trying to do. Which frankly that post is far from being.
But if you can't even see the rudeness in your comment there is nothing more to say. You are a lost cause. I'm going back to ignoring you now.

All because you don't like it. lol Are you so thick that you can't even understand what you say? funny... Can't really say i am surprised. Maybe you need to go back to ignoring me like you said. Maybe that's what is like for you out in the real world, maybe that's why you feel the need to post here like a maniac, and maybe that's why you have an insane number of posts in such a short period of time. You talk about pathetic... just stand in front of a mirror sweetie peace

Why do some threads on here ALWAYS have to ruin by some posts by certain member(s) and end up with childish fights?
You just can't be agree with everyone on this forum and everyone has their own taste, so accept and respect it.
