Four Four Two Australia reports it may just be. It also suggests Real Madfrid and Barca should form their own league, and let the others have La liga. Thoughts

Since the inception of the English Premier League in 92, Spain has seen more title winners than England. Quality wise, a comparison to the SPL is laughable.

they have the money to sign great players just to be reserve... they're becoming huge, but in Europe too. Barça is in the best moment of its story and Real Madrid is the probably the only one that can beat them (hopefully it will happen tomorrow). Maybe when City sack Mancini they can be a challenge too

The gap in recent years has become ridiculous from Barca and Madrid to the next team. In the last 5 season the gaps between 2nd and 3rd place in Spain are 5 (06-07) 10 (07-08) 8 (08-09) 25 (09-10) 21 (10-11). In Scotland its 7 (06-07) 26 (07-08) 23 (08-09) 18 (09-10) 29 (10-11). And in England its 15(06-07) 2 (07-08) 3 (08-09) 8 (09-10) 0 (10-11) this shows that is is becoming more like Scotland but obviously higher quality but you always know the top 2 just not the order of them.

Ever seen Dundee, Hearts and Herenveen in the EL quarter finals and both Rangers and Celtic in the UCL last eight?
Athletic Bilbao is fucking 10th in the league and pissed all over United in both legs. Come on.

Dundee United beat Barcelona some years ago and I don't think there is another Atlético de Madrid in the world ;D ;D ;D

They do have a point. Ignore the fact that the spanish teams have much more money. La Liga is extremely boring in the sense that it's always Barça/Real. Not to menion how frustrating it must be for the other 18 teams.

It's definitely the strongest league in the World.
Two all-Spanish European Finals look very likely.
Barca and Real would be way ahead in the Prem too, if they replaced the Manchester teams.
And Valencia would be much closer to the Manchester teams than they currently are to Barca and Real.

The hypothesis has fallen down after the rangers debacle this season.

It's definitely the strongest league in the World. La Liga isn't "becoming" like the SPL it has always been between Barca and madrid IMO

LOOOOOOOOOLOLOLOLOOOOOOOOOOLOLOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOLOLOLOLOOOOOOOOLOOOOOOOOOO FERNANDO TORRES CHELSEA'S NUMBER 9 LOOOOOOOLOLOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOLOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOLOLOLOOOOOOOOOOOLOOOOOOO where was Messi? scoring penalties... oh wait... Chelsea are a bunch of classless mugs. Cech wasting time in the first half. John Terry showing why he's despised everywhere again. Drogba play acting, per usual. You'd think by their reaction that they outplayed Barcelona. Instead they nicked goals on the few counters they got, and parked the bus for 180mins. And for the record, it wasn't good Chelsea defending, but rather poor Barcelona attacking. They were far too intricate, and slowed down drastically in the final third, giving Chelsea plenty of time to set up shop. Talk about trying to walk the god damn ball in. Can't wait to see them lose the final (their team is decimated with suspensions for the final) and finish outside the top four. I hate those mugs more than any other team.
