actually, TDOYAM is one of the better songs on his album, Millionaire not so much for BDI. Even with all that, one sounds like a rockband, not to mention they look a lot like what used to be one of the biggest bands in the world, the other, not so much.
Not Liam's best vocal performance by any means but Noel just didn't have it that night i guess. He sounds rushed, a bit out of breath and looks... well, we've already been through this.

you took the best by beady eye against the worst of the by the high flying birds Its not even close to the best performance of Millionaire. But yeah I agree with Thuperthonic, neither are particularly inspiring.

I watched Noel on Jools last night with my parents and my mum (who always says noel has a way better voice and doesn't understand I like Beady Eye better) said something in the lines of :
"I'm sure the music on his concert is going to be good ('cause i'm going next week) but there's nothing to look at"
And in defense of Noel I said to my mum "Well it isn't like Liam is moving much on stage either" on which she didn't really know what to reply cause it's true ofcourse.. But she said that Noel was just stepping back & forth and you don't know where to look at, whereas with Beady Eye your eyes are fixed on Liam and he just draws your attention wether you want it or not. And they look like a propper famous rock 'n' roll band, whereas Noel just looked out or place.
And she's right. Noel looked really bad/old (My mum thought he was over 50!) and he does not look like he is enjoying it when he is singing. And the band doesn't look much like a band either. They look like a bunch of random people put together on a stage. The only one I really like is the bass player.

you took the best by beady eye against the worst of the by the high flying birds Disagree, I thought Millionaire was poor and Bring The Light on the same show was much better, where as TDOYAM sounded better than What A Life. Neither were anything special though.

I will have to say Millionaire was the best from those 2 performances, the trumpet section of TDOYAM was too weak and ruined it a tad. Having said that, I enjoyed the performance of TDOYAM more, since it is a much more enjoyable song for me. In simple terms: Millionaire better performance, TDOYAM the most enjoyable performance. Even with all that, one sounds like a rockband, not to mention they look a lot like what used to be one of the biggest bands in the world, the other, not so much. I'm not sure what this have to do with anything? Noel isn't trying to be a rockband and Beady Eye are trying to be one.....that's probably why one looks like one and the other doesn't.......

I prefer the roller and the bring the light performance over the millionaire one, i also think Noel over estimates himself with the high notes... on the album they work fine but when singing live he's starting to loses all volume and projection in his voice when he goes for them.

I used to love Millionaire (used to be my favourite song on the album), but TDOYAM made it look pretty shoddy. Liams performance was a bit better than Noel's (shock horror) but the backing vocals spoil it, in a similar way to the crap brass section ruining TDOYAM. Someone should get Noel to write songs for Liam, that would be epic.
