This is the basic guideline recipe I'm using: www.bonappetit.com/recipe/chimichurri-sauce-2I'm not using extra-virgin olive oil because I don't like the taste of extra-virgin olive oil, and, in my opinion, extra-virgin olive oil should never be heated..... Gracias.

Gracias. That recipe sounds ok but I don't like olive oil or extra spicy shit so no jalapeños or chillies. Just regular cooking oil (corn, sunflower, mix, or whatever you use over there) and white vinegar. Parsley, garlic, oregano, small ammount of pepper and whatever spices you have

I'm really looking forward to Taco Bell sauce packet inspired tortilla chips this summer - it's really the only thing keeping me going at this point..... Gracias. I'm currently eating the Taco Bell 'Mild' Tortillã chips, they're not that great, too much seasoning and doesn't resemble the mild sauce enough for me. I have a bag of the 'Fire', trying those next.... Gracias.

Really like Louisiana style sauces. Has that vinegar component and not so hot it kills the flavor. Was a die hard Franks proponent for years (I know generic). Tried some others and landed with something called Louisiana Supreme. Like Franks, but a bit hotter. Inexpensive, but great on eggs, hash browns etc. Cuts way down on my use of salt. Homemade guac is the best. Some of those big chain versions seem too pureed, almost to the point of being whipped. I find using a lighter touch with the fork, and leaving it a bit chunkier preferable. Adding some diced tomato lets you make it a bit spicier and makes it more juicy. Good cut for the extra heat and for me, more juicy is good for just about everything Thanks. Texas Pete's is a lot like Frank's, but better, in my opinion.....can't remember if it's hotter than Frank's or not. Have you tried Crystal hot sauce? It's suppose to be good, I haven't been able to find it in store and haven't ordered it online yet.... Thanks. I actually found Crystal hot sauce today in store, been looking for it for awhile, happened to see it in a store today, weird......it's not that great. madferitusa2025. Thanks.
