This post is great. No problem with that.
But once again, something annoyes me. People have a tendancy to say Noel and Liam have two different styles. They don't so much, Noel was the guy writting the rokers for Liam. He developped a another style of singing because he obviously had little brother to sing his "supersonic" etc, so he developped his accoustic number and gave Oasis a large pannel of song and stage time. It doesn't mean Noel is not rock n roll. I'm pretty sure if he was able to sing DM, he would have. On later years, he made stupid decisions and ruined some rock songs like Mucky fingers, fore of nature or LDSMD by singing them instead of Liam. They were average songs anyway but they became wery bad without Liam. On RM, the way he sings the 'wasssstttteeee" or "dreammm", for me he just imitates Liam. Noel hasn't got another style than Liam that much, he has a mid tempo style of songwritting that he can pull off and a rock style he just can't, this kind of songwritting was expressed by Liam. But it was in Noel anyway. We don't get this aspect of his songwritting anymore. I can't see that as a good thing. And I certainly can't explain that by "they have differents styles". In singing yes, in songwritting, not at all. Noel's just too limited without Liam. I support Noel anyway but I'm not glad about anything since the split tbh. Except that I really like some songs on HFB.
So when people say Noel isn't rock n roll, they act like all the rockers like "Rockn roll star" belongs to Liam, since Noel can't sing them in their original form and they justify this by "it's not his style". Well he wrote the damn song so yes it's his style, he just too limited to sing it.
Then Liam said he will sing Noel's song at BDI's gigs, so it's obviously this kind of song he's talking about, and people starts saying, "it's not right, it's Noel's songs." So Noel can't sing them in their right form and Liam shoudn't? I really don't get Oasis fans sometimes.

I actually think that was one of my better posts and it seems to have silenced the likes of jilliam in the process. Not in the slightest. We can agree to disagree, however many ppl on here just don't have the balls to speak their mind when it comes to saying anything negative about the Gallaghers, Noel in particular. if I voice anything negative about Noel, that apparently makes me ANTI-Noel. No it doesn't, that just means that I am capable of seeing the good and bad in his work, doesn't mean I think its shit, as Ms. GreenDayforever stated. Every band or artist has bad episodes in their careers, and their going to get flack for it. You'll have fans that can appreciate the work they've put forth and can critique their blunders and you'll have fans that are sooo wrapped up in heroism/fandom that they don't have the balls to say they didn't like something for fear that someone might call them a fake fan, which is the case in this forum and others as well.

I've criticized Noel. You just don't bother to remember when I do. And I've complemented BDI and Liam. But you also don't bother remembering that.
Doesn't fit with your jaded POV.

For the first time I gave karma to NL4E. Yee, now thats strange, the forum is upside down these days... agreed in what he says though, the formula is Noel and Liam...
Anyway, I don't think Noel is not rock'n roll, there are a couple of songs in the current set that are great, is just that BDI just fit a lot more into that, while the HFBs are into this soft approach that fits Noel better. Tbh that criticism is quite cheap for me.
My problem with Noel is that I really think hes not a great singer ;D but that doesn't mean he's bad when performing his songs, then there wouldn't be a reason to attend to his shows.

Just got back from Beady Eye, they were fucking fantastic. I forgot if someone posted this before, but Beady Eye brought the thunder, Noel brought the tunes. I loved both equally and for different reasons. Beady Eye's original tunes sounded much better than Noel's originals live, but that isn't to say Noel sounded bad. I love Noel's album more, but Beady Eye really bring it live. Andy, Gem, Jeff, and Chris all had a lot of personality. Noel's band is competent, sound great, but are so boring.
Overall, it's a tie in my books. I loved both shows and I'd easily see both again.
