Liam revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe tonight that beady eye aren't doing any gigs at all in 2012. He said there still planning on going in the studio in February but aren't doing any gigs next year. Not sure when there planning on putting the album out then!

Yeah I think end of 2012 is were we should look at. Liam also said he likes to record in summer, so that's probably going to happen then. Release in oktober/november, small UK & Europe tour end of 2012, bigger tour spring 2013 and after that ready for the festivals! At least it seems like we'll be getting a Beady Eye live DVD to keep us entertained meanwhile!

Imo they need to take as much time as possible in the studio after that forgetable record that's collecting dust in my basement.

It's a good news, go in studio boys and work there, stop the Beatles and Stone tunes and make a good album. See you in 2013.

Well, if they manage to open Heaton Park for the Roses, we'll have a chance to listen to them live next year. Opening for The Stone Roses would actually be an interesting opportunity to preview at least one new song.

Get 'em in while you can then! Washington and NY, here I come! And as an extra treat, to top off going to two Beady Eye shows in a row, I'm going to go see The Dig the following night. (They opened a few shows for Beady Eye in Spring/Summer). Awesome band, GREAT group of guys. Check THEM out if you ever get the chance, you won't be disappointed!

write, record and mix an album takes at least 6-7 months. think they put out the album at the end of 2012 I think they have a lot of the tunes ready, at least that was my impression from the few interviews about BDI #2. I still wouldn't get my hopes too high, as they took a lot of time with DGSS although most tunes were already written, and I really hope BDI2 will be even better. Early 2013 is realistic imo.

They say they have some 11 songs written. The question is, their are going for a bigger thing now, with strings, horns, etc. Let's wait and see.

I'm glad they are going to take their time with the second album, I think we could be in for a treat, especially with Liam mentioning they are going to put string etc on it. I think they are definitely going to support The Roses without a doubt so that's at least one gig in 2012, they may debut a couple new songs if we're lucky.
