Hi. I'm planning on making a best of BDI 2011 live performances DVD. I have decided some of the songs, but I need your opinions on what you think is the best version from this year. Of course I may have to change some of it as there are some gigs left of the year. So far I've chosen:
Four Letter Word: Casino de Paris Beatles and Stones: Abbey Road Millionaire: Summer Sonic Three Ring Circus: Casino de Paris Two of a Kind: iTunes fest For Anyone: Casino de Paris The Roller: Summer Sonic Wind Up Dream: Troxy In the Bubble: Berlin Bring the Light: Lowlands Standing on the Edge: Letterman Kill For a Dream: Abbey Road The Beat Goes On: Alan Carr Man of Misery: Berlin The Morning Son: Abbey Road Wigwam: Lowlands World Outside: Berlin Sons of the Stage: Casino de Paris Across the Universe: Brixton Academy
I want your opinions, so which ones are your favourites?

kill for a dream in argentina was amazing, all the crowd singing "ooooooooh oooooh ooooh" at the begining. but the video is awful. I'm hoping that the people from the festival will upload the video in a good quality

To mix it up more you could have The Roller from the Zane Lowe BBC session.

I think you should put on the T In The Park version of Sons of the stage, that was mega!! especially the crowd scene at the end where liam gets his hat robbed

I preferred the Japanese tour version of Across the Universe to the one at Brixton

^I agree, not sure there is any decent footage of the Japanese gigs though?

Thanks for great tips, guys. I also like the Japanese version of Across the Universe, but there are no proper video or sound footage from it, the only i can find is the one from Brixton.. SotS on T in the Park was mega, but the sound of it sounds much better when played inside theatres. Plus his voice was better earlier on tour. Updated the list.

Thanks for yout effort, I'll certainly download whatever you end up putting together. And I agree there's gotta be something from the Lowlands. At least one among Bring The Light, Sons of the Stage or Man of Misery

wigwam in letterman's was my fav version for a long time, even better than the studio version, but somehow now it;s in the 2nd place behinf their amazing LOWLANDS performance.perfect voice, perfect band, perfect argggghhhhhh in the end...its like in the "i m the walrus" status!its almost impossible to think that its a live performance in a festival!!!
great idea to have and put togethetr their best performances.til their new album most of us we are gonna have something great to enjoy.i cant wait for the final tracklist.
