Seen a few comments on the song but not much discussion. I think it's a cool song, love the vibe to it. Nice to see a Noel song with a bit of attitude again, if that makes sense.
How do you wise fellows rate it?

It's a fucking tune and half. Got a bit of a Kasabian vibe about it (lyrically). Really looking forward to the studio version.

I'm a bit disappointed that it is likely to be on the AA album......it's a bit too 'normal' for what I'm looking for on that album...

I'm a bit disappointed that it is likely to be on the AA album......it's a bit too 'normal' for what I'm looking for on that album... From how he's described the AA album, it's almost like they've sampled his songs then gone away and created new ones a la IIHAG... so there's a chance this could be the 'straight' version, before the AA rodgered it with their gigantic psychedelic dildo. (And that's not to say that being rodgered by a gigantic psychedelic dildo is necessarily a bad thing... it's just not for everyone ;-) ) I do think a lot of people are hoping it's going to be more out there than it'll end up (the AA album). Yeah he's also described it as 'poppy' and 'catchy' I believe. He probably was just exaggerating in his descriptions to begin with, like way back in the day when RM was described as "The Beatles covering Led Zeppelin on acid while riding gigantic robotic crocodiles." Definitely more excited about this album now though, just to see what the hell it sounds like! |

i can't wait to hear a studio version of this. It's rocky but it fits nicely with Noel's vocals. Love the 6/8 time and its nicely structured tune. Love the chorus already.

I love this song. It's right up there with Everybody's On The Run and Record Machine as my favorite post-Oasis Noel songs.
