www.nme.com/news/oasis/60195"I’m sure we're gonna get back together. Noel's got to do his solo thing – and realise he's not that good without his younger brother." "And then, 2015, the 'Morning Glory' 20th anniversary tour. It was him that started the idea and now he's saying he's not up for it, but I am. If the people want it, then the people will get it." On album #2: "(DGSS) wasn't life-changing, but the next album… that'll be life-changing. It'll be a much more grander affair too, with strings."

Cheers. Yeah. The first intimation from Noel that he'd reform and Liam's all over it. Very surprising, though to be fair he says he wouldn't want to be in a full band with him again, just do a tour. Here's a good quote: "If we get back together, it'll be a great trip down memory lane. But it's not the only road that's open to me anymore."

Wow, if Liam's that interested in a reunion it will definitely happen! Surprised BDI #2 will be a "grander affair" after he slagged off NGHFB which was full of strings...

Really? Liam being that into a reunion after only one BDI album? I'd call that quite a surprise.

Well, I dunno. Noel seems to be doing fine on his own for the moment.

Noel is doing very good, but he 's less good without Liam. That's true. Most of the poeple miss Liam's voice on several trakcs on the HFB album and the gigs seem very good, but not as great as it was with Oasis. It miss rock n roll spirit. It's seated show !!!

i think he heard the finished versions of the songs he knew before, and thought all this strings sounded better than he would admit

Good interview. I'm up for all of this. The next BDI album will be amazing I reckon. I still think DGSS is solid- just listened to it the other day for the first time in about a month and enjoyed it thoroughly.

yes to the tour but I'm not fussed on hearing any new material. What noel is doing now is a breath of fresh air and the best thing any of them have done since wtsmg.after bhn oasis albums became boring with the odd great track and a load of average ones .beedys eye album Ive never really been a fan of sounds like a bunch of oasis songs that wouldn't make the cut on any of there studio albums.Noel does not need Liam at the end of the day and could go on to have the same kind of influence and career as Paul weller.Liam needs noel more if anything.

No, of course not. If the HFB album was an Oasis album, it would have been their best work since BHN. So we have great album, but not an amazing one, because it's missing something, and this thing is Liam.

It's not a coincidence that Noel's album was the best since BHN (I say MG) and Beady Eye contained the best LAG work to date. Its because they were both motivated to do it because of the break up. The last few Oasis albums were not what they could have been for various reasons (poor song selection by Noel for both his and LAG songs, Liam not singing his best on some tracks). WHy would these factors have changed any if Oasis hadn't broken up? And similarly, did you see Oasis during the DOYS tour? It was not fucking good. Noel's new shows shit all over those shows.

they wouldn't have changed we would have got another repetitive group of songs in the vain of doys .I'm a big fan of oasis but they had there time now its time for the Gallagher lads to do there own things .I'm sure beady eyes second album will be a vast improvement

Firts I don't think Beady eye is best LAG work for date at all, second Noel wrote most of the songs during the last tour or the last decade, so they were planned for Oasis, Everybody's on the run was obviously planned for Liam. Third, I saw them during the DOYS tour, it was ok but less good than during the DBTT tour. I'm not saying the Oasis of 2008 is better than Noel solo, I'm saying this HFB album with Liam voice (aka the old formula of Oasis) would have been a killer. Basically since the split, we have noticed that Noel is still perfectly capable to make a great record doing all the songwritting and that Liam is still capable of great vocals. So it's a shame they hadn't worked this album together, and separatly it'll never get as good as it was in the good days.

Both solo projects are miss something (each other) but they're both better than wath Oasis would've been today.

I"ve jus read the entire interview and it was a pretty good read I'd say. Cool idea about the Oasis movie as well. But who will play the band members? Themselves? Don't think Noel would be up for that? I think a book would be a much better idea

If Beady Eye were getting #1 albums and selling out the O2 in a matter of minutes Liam wouldn't be interested in a reunion with Noel. This is driven by Beady Eye not working out the way he'd hoped.
