is their anyone getting all the vids to MP3s?
I would love to listen to the concert in my car today. That would RULE. Great show it sounded like.

My fucking broadband went, 83% and it's all gone. If anyone knows a site I can upload to for free that I could resume-upload (like megaupload with downloading) I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll have another go tonight but if it fails then I'm fucking done.

ciangiff.... First of all - thanks for all of your efforts, it's just amazing. When I started taping shows there was no internet, so I can't say if I'd have uploaded them right after coming home from the show.... I remember dubbing tapes for mates who went with me right after a couple of times though, so maybe I would.... blablabla anyway...... Mate, would you mind if I authored a DVD and shared it on here? Let me know. I will do the DVD anyway, but any further use of your work should be ok'ed by you in my opinion. Don't wanna earn credit for what you did without you approving it. Okay, that didn't come across quite right, haha... Of course, I'll give all and proper credit to you, but in case you don't want me to share the DVD, just say so. I can do some artwork for it, too - of course. While we're at it - I am just authoring a DVD of your (I think) Olympia recordings of Beady Eye. I remember one guy said he'd do a DVD of it, so I wouldn't want to come up with something he's busy with you know. Got any news on his progress or should I ask him about it? (I'm new, so I do not remember each and everyone's name yet - soz!) Sorry, I'm rambling on, can't help it!  |

Don't worry about that. I said you'd get credit for your work, proper credit that is, and I'll be true to my word. Didn't expect you to upload the RAW files. Not that I'd really mind but I understand why you wouldn't wanna do this, you're doing plenty of good work on here the way it is right now - as far as I can tell given the few days I've been on here, but I don't think I'm wrong about this. You're right about putting this here, sorry if it sounded to you as if I wanted you to PM me or something... Anyway, don't worry, I'm grateful for your work and I understand that I wouldn't even have to ask you about this if you didn't record the shows in the first place. I'd even send you actual physical copies of the DVDs to show my appreciation if you'd fancy that. I'm glad about about simply getting this stuff and I have seen lots of the stuff I have taped abused over the years, at least one even released as a 2CD boot and sold everywhere without me even knowing about it until I saw it on sale.... so trust me on this: I hate taper's work being treated with no respect at least as much as you do (I guess). A note to everyone else: I am happy to share the DVDs with you guys, but my upstream is terribly slow, so uploading one DVD of 4GB takes me 4-5 days. Please keep this in mind when wondering when it'll be on, I'll probably post links on a daily base until I'm done if that's okay with the admins?! |
