Could I bother somebody for a PM of the B-Sides, please? I'm dying. All I have is "The Good Rebel" Or at least someone respond with a method of retrieving, please. I've tried looking on the SCYHO blogspot. I am no bum, I do in fact BUY all Oasis/Noel music, singles included. I promise I will order his singles from the UK - My local record store just closed Just need them to hold me over in the meantime. Thanks!

We can't post or PM official material, but if you go to nghfbleak on twitter it's all on there. Edit - finished the art for this if anyone wants it: Back art to follow when I regain feeling in my photoshopping hand.

My two cents...
A Simple Game of Genius had the potential to be a legendary song, up there with DLBIA and CS. As it is though, it's still missing something...like it never quite reaches to the level it was supposed to be. Even so, ASGOG is an incredible track and probably in the top 3 on the album (which is saying alot).
Alone on the Rope...don't have much to say since I haven't friccin heard the whole song, despite my most devious efforts! But it does sound good, alneit a bit too melancholy.
The Good Rebel...agree with a prior post that this probably would have been a better Liam song. As it is, it doesn't do much for me. Ok, but not A side quality.
Let the Lord Shine On Me...again, just ok. Not a bad song, but I can't help think the song feels old. Maybe it's the backing singer. But hey, I'm glad he actually uses a backing singer this time!
I'd Pick You Every Time...well, this one I think kinda sucks. Well, if it were on Beady Eye's album then it'd be one of the better ones, but no. Like that he experimented with the banjo, but no...
Freaky Teeth...while not a B-side, this song is just great. This is what Mucky Fingers wants to be. Really like this song and can totally see the James Bond vibe.

I'm not sure I'm getting where everyone is coming from on "I'd Pick You" as being terrible. I absolutely love it. I may have listened to this one the most out of the new batch of b-sides/bonus tracks. I think it's a perfect little pop song. Love it.

P.S. anyone else see the similarities between "Alone on a Rope" and "How To Disappear Completely"? I'm sure it's been mentioned before this. Same chord structure.

I get the same vibe, a DLBIA/CS epic. Love the melody and the lyrics. It's as good as anything on the album but I rate IIHAG higher. And probably prefer TDOYAM. I think it was too good to leave from an official release. But it kind of adds to Noel's myth of putting great songs out not on albums. He's building his own legacy further. I really do rate this song that high. haha

Yeah, the production does the tune a disservice.

I don't see the appeal in AOTR and IPYE

Game of genious is the best of the bunch. But yes: the song is great, but it needs two things: turn up Noel´s vocals and a longer and better guitar solo. Great b sde, or bonus track, or hidden track, or whatever it is.
I´s pick you everytime is the second best: short, simple, beatiful and catchy song.
