It'd be interesting to see Guigsy, Whitey, and Bonehead back on stage... I just don't see it happening. I'd say Bonehead would be almost definitely up for it... Not so sure about the others... I want this to happen... I want my chance to see the greatest band of all time.... If it happens, I'll be at the barrier after camping since I got the ticket, crying tears of joy :')

Personally I don't think a reunion in 2012 would be a good indea for neither Liam or Noel. Let's give them a few years seperated and then decide wheter a reunion would do them both good or not. I think Beady Eye are just getting better and better every time, and the second album will be much better than DGSS. Noel's project really sounds interesting, and we all know his ability. Noel looks a bit uncomfortable being a frontman but this will get better in time. He probably came up with the idea of a possible reunion because he'd rather see Liam being the frontman.
What I would love to see is a gig together with Stone Roses. I doubt Liam would sing most of the Oasis' songs as good as he did at his best. The Beady Eye songs are quite different, and I think he'll trouble adapting to them again.
But still, an interesting thought...

Let's worry about this in 2014/5. To be honest I am quite sad hearing this, I've enjoyed every step of the solo careers so far and was looking forward to seeing both develop. Now it seems like it's 2 Beady Eye albums and that's it? And the second one will be virtually ignored, as if they keep this up everything will be seen as just treading water waiting for the anniversary excuse for the reunion. It just seems to me like Noel being back on the scene coupled with some lacklustre gigs has shaken Liam's confidence. Forget Oasis, it ended. We have tons of beautiful songs to listen to forever. Get on with Beady Eye and HFBs, put your heart and soul into them and see where it goes. Instead everyone is already looking to the reunion so they can hear the same old songs played over again. Stick Morning Glory on the hi-fi or go to a BE/HFBs gig. A reunion, and talk of a reunion is unnecessary in 2011. We'll see how we feel in 2015. totally agree. it's a sham(e).

It doesn't have to be as long as the DOYS tour. It could be one major show in each region for all I care, just not one show at one place. It just seems so unfair for all of their fans as Morning Glory was the album that made them a worldwide phenomenon! I agree, I don't want to see this dragged out, but it should be more than just one show. to each his own. but at this point of time, if we're talking about OASIS --- i'm looking for QUALITY over QUANTITY. i would rather have a few TOP NOTCH gigs, with all the former band members involved and everyone in a good mood performing these amazing songs the PROPER WAY THEY SHOULD SOUND--- as opposed to having 50-100 mediocre shows where you don't know what you're going to get on any one particular night. we're talking about songs that mean so very much to so many people... and this would be a great opportunity for the brothers to give themselves--- and the fans---- the proper sendoff that oasis truly deserves. Exactly, I said it could be a few gigs. It doesn't have be a six month tour, I just want them to hit more than just the British market.

If the reunion happens, it would be shit if they don't put up a new album

Right!! They should meet as soon as possible and start writing songs for a new album 2013!!! Come on lads,we all want Oasis back!! I mean, Noel doesn't want to be a frontman and Beady Eye can't even sell out small joints like the Tonhalle in Munich!!!WTF, even ugly Indie bands can fill that "club"!!!I wanna see the guys playing big arenas again like MSG New York,O2 London, Forum Milan...... !!!!

I would rather have a 4 CD + 2 DVD boxset of Whats The Story Morning Glory in 2015. Demos/b-sided etc...
Hopefully the Beady Eye guys would start playing their Oasis songs they written on the 2nd album tour. That way it would give the fans the ease of them not reforming.

Its good the Stone Roses have got back together and its been massive with super quick ticket sales etc.
I'm sure Noel/Liam are both thinking 'hmmm' !
Noel in interviews seems to suggest he made a mistake walking out when there were just a few dates left, hes said he cant see Oasis getting back together as Liam is so anti it but i'm sure Noel wants to do it. Get the solo album out of the way and then get back with Oasis at some point in a few years.
Liam at the moment is hurting bad, wont show it of course but all the anger/silly messages/slating Noel etc, its because he cares so much. The way he refuses to sing Oasis songs as well, he knows that'll hurt Noel if Oasis never get back together as it wont be the same Noel singing every Oasis song.
Once the dust continues to settle i reckon at some point Oasis for sure will come back, hope its not just an anniversary tour. But i firmly believe they'll be back at some point, another Beady Eye album and 2013-ish i reckon we'll start to hear rumours. It'll happen
They wont admit it but the brothers totally need each other.

Liam told Canadian TV show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight:
" Noel is the one that started this kind of thing. But I'm definitely up for doing a tour. I don't think me and him will ever be in a full-on band again that's done, I think."
dont forget cause Noel told Absolute Radio:
" It was a hasty decision I've got to say, and we could maybe have all gone off and done other things for a few years. In my own head the 2015, 20-year anniversary of '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' is looming and we could have maybe come back, made a new album and played that album in its entirety and gone and been the greatest thing ever, but there you go."
now, i cant understand Noel.was it another mind-game with Liam or his mind is outta way when his album reached #1 with good sales?

Noel was using Liam as an escuse to not reform Oasis. But now Liam sats i'll do it, so if Noel continues to say "it would be great a morning glory tour" well there's no point in his tour. But in a couple of years, Liam and him will miss each other and more importantly miss Oasis. Noel loved being in a huge band.

Notice that Noel was talking in hypotheticals.
He wasn't saying "I would like to reunite for 2015 only Liam won't do it" he was saying "if things had happened differently this is what I had been planning for 2015"
The comments about not reuniting because Liam said it made him want to vomit were probably said because it was the easiest way to shut up a journalist. If he says he doesn't want to reunite he has to spend 5 minutes justifying himself. If he says it's not happening because the other person has already said it would make them want to vomit then the journalist moves on immediately.
And since Liam has retracted the comment that gave Noel an easy out he has instead been saying that his reasons for leaving are still present and valid. Doesn't sound to me like Noel really wants to be with Liam in a band in a practical way.

Doesn't sound to me like Noel really wants to be with Liam in a band in a practical way. No but if he was sincere, it shows that he's a solo artist by default and never really want it that way. And using Liam as an escuse makes Liam the bad guy whereas it's Noel who left the band. Now he has to remind people that he left the band, not Liam. Before, it was like "i left the band but it was a too quick decision, so I'm solo and anyway Liam doesn't want to ever consider a reunion", Now it's "I've left the band and I'm not coming back."Not the same for me.
