.... what did you make of the album? I absolutely loved it. Blasting out of my stereo, sat there in my chair smiling like an idiot I was that pleased with this album. It's everything I hoped for. It's miles better than any Oasis album since Morning Glory.

Loved every song except Dream On, I must admit I milked it when I got home it was like "here we go after years of waiting I'm finally going to play Noely G's solo album"
How good is Record Machine?!?! That middle 8 is amazing

Its fucking amazing, I feel like running away and never speaking to anyone and just listening to this over and over again. Fuck you Noel for making me feel like this. 10/10.

I'm really pleased with it. At first the effects on Noel's voice seemed a bit odd, but I soon got used to it. The new version of RM threw me a bit too. But seriously, those are the only complaints. My fears of a weak second half were thankfully unnecessary. SBAJF is an early favourite.

The only song I thought his vox sounded a bit weird on was Everybody's On The Run

The only song I thought his vox sounded a bit weird on was Everybody's On The Run Same. It's just because it's the first track I was a bit like "What the fuck?"

Read this in a review somewhere on here, but the 'lalalas' on Dream On really are like Modern Life Is Rubbish era blur aren't they?

Everybody's On The Run so much better than the soundcheck. Fucking masterpiece.
I feel like quitting my job. What's the point in going to work now? The peak of humanity has occurred. Fucking hell. Everybody's on the run, innit

Noel isn't short on classic openers either...in fact I'd say every Oasis album got off to a great start (including the one opened by a song written by WHO THE FUCK I CAN'T REMEMBER HIS FUCKING NAME WHAT???) but yeah, it's right up there.

Haven't the faintest clue at who the bell that could be either, if Sly Stallone decides to do another Rocky film from a withered nursing home canteen then EOTR should definitely be on the soundtrack in the last scene. Everybody's got the runs

I got to say, I'm a bit underwhelmed. Well-done and produced tracks, but most of them lack excitement to me. It's a "safety Noel" for me - I just read a review which said that "Noel brings the compulsory, with one or two great songs, but let's be more demanding and say that if Noel's a great songwriter, this collection of tunes can't be more than average". And I totally agree. Probably a 6/10 on first listen, I'm pretty sure that more songs will grow on me, so it'll end up as a 7/10 for me, same level as DGSS did. I believe he has at least one truly great album in him, but this is not it yet.

I think anyone who thinks this album is the same level as DGSS needs to seek urgent medical attention But opinions are opinions i guess, i think the expectations of Noel from some people are beyond human............although he is nearly beyond human.
