This should be cool. At the very least, the DOYS remixes were interesting!

Interesting. There must be other remixers out there then too - I can't see him just giving two tracks to UNKLE.

I also love the work UNKLE did with the 'X-Files' theme for the 2008 movie....
And the CNS version is amazing...
The LTLSALOM remix was the first that actually disapointed me...

Just noticed on UNKLE'S facebook page it says this... "Finished our new mix of Noel G really happy with it . Mike marsh mastering today. JL" Should have another remix on the way very soon

Any more news about this?
Can't believe we've had two remixes by UNKLE confirmed and no other artists mentioned yet... they can't be the only ones given tracks to remix!

And anyway the next album is one big remix. It would be nice to get a few more from HFB, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if UNKLE's the only one doing them.

Yeah definitely agree, Noel and UNKLE go way back, from Noel's own remix of 'The Knock On Effect' back in 1998, to when UNKLE returned the favour by producing Who Put The Weight Of The World and re-recorded/remixed Cast No Shadow. Only other artists I'd expect Noel wanting to let remix his songs would be The Chemical Brothers (which seem suspiciously quiet at the moment so who knows?) and Death In Vegas...

He mentioned that he gave WAL to Norman Cook who said it was too perfect to change, so at least one more person than UNKLE has definitely been approached even if nothing came of it.
I can see him speaking to Liam Howlett too - he's working on a new album and remixed the foos recently.

Don't really think Noels more laid back songs would suit the Prodigys sound, more suited to Liams vocals. Also, I can imagine Noel not forgiving him for butchering the original version of Shoot Down a few years back, hence him playing the original demo on the radio. Think we've got more chance of getting a Prodigy remix of Beady Eye than one of Noels songs. Thought Norman Cook was too busy on tour to do the WAL remix?

The Prodigy remixed Falling Down so he can't have been that upset with the Shoot Down results. And Falling Down is hardly a banging' club chuuune. I could see Liam Howlett doing something with WAL.
I agree that the Foos remix was poor. His Jay-Z 99 problems remix was great though.

Yeah the Jay-Z remix was excellent Ah yeah, completely forgot about the Falling Down remix, that weren't too bad, weren't too keen on that annoying lead synth sound though, really killed it. Wonder what Noel's planning on doing with these remixes, UNKLE haven't mentioned anything yet about how or when they're gonna be released officially.

WAL is screaming for a remix in my opinion.
Can't wait to hear the AA version after the snippets of IIHAG and TDOYAM we've heard...

Saw on twitter that Pete Tong (some Radio 1 DJ) said that he'd be playing an exclusive UNKLE mix of a Noel Gallagher track on his show tonight if anyone cares.

Cheers!
Can't be arsed to listen to Pete Tong's show!
If anyone records this and it's not the mix we've already heard, please stick it up on here - or at least note the time so I can fast forward the rest of the show on iPlayer :-)

Either I'm being stupid or there is no 'listen again' feature yet? Unless it's blocked outside UK
