hey psufan43,
If you do that, I'll paypal you the cost for the album if you hook me up.. haha.. I can't believe it either.. Japanese imports used to be easier to get than US releases. I can't believe someone hasn't gotten it and shared anyway.. makes no sense...

im still looking. if i get it im posting it for all. im still searching to make sure it will def work and looking for a gift card www.japan-codes.com/itunes/it will definitely work, you'll just have to create a Japan iTunes account, its totally free. You have to put in a fake Japan Address and Phone number, shouldnt be too hard to find. That site is supposedly real good, you pay-pal them, and as soon as they get your payment they'll immediately e-mail you the code to put in iTunes...

i asked a few people. and did some google searches. turns out even if you get an itunes gift card from another country. you still have to sign out and make an account registred to a address in that country with a credit card registerd to that country. seems like alot of fucking nonsense. its fucking absurd that you just cant buy from another country.

for iTunes japan, as long as you have the gift card code, you dont need a credit card to register for an account...if anyone is having trouble, i can create an iTunes Japan account, just dont have the 18 bucks to get a iTunes code

Apparently you don't need to have a fake address if you have the code.
But I can do it if no on else wants to, I just need a step-by-step guide so I don't fuck up.

(Long time lurker)
I'm trying to set one up, but like others have said you have to have an address and phone number to create an account. Side note, the Japanese account set up is jacked up on my computer. Most of the buttons are blank and it you just have to guess what button to push.

Ok, I get this far. It's been a long time since I've set up an iTunes account. I'm pretty sure that I need to a have a credit card to complete the process. I'm not sure if just having the code will bypass it. I don't mind buying a gift card code, but I want to make sure it will work before I buy one.

Ok, work around for the credit card is to download a free app. That way you don't have to provide a credit card, you can simply select None for payment method. You do have to provide an address and phone number, though.

I went to the Japan App Store and selected the first app in their Top 10 Free Apps chart. Searching for a address and phone number now. Not sure how long it takes to get a giftcard code, though. I read that it can take 30min to 24hrs.
