... as the support act is (still a rumour but I almost got it almost confirmed) THE BLACK BOX REVELATION! The best Belgian rock 'n' roll band around. Seen them 5 times already and going to see them again next month! For some time already now, they really remind me of Oasis. Not the music itself, nor do they look or dress the same way. Just their enthousiasm, passion! They are giving everything they got & more! Gigs of them are epic and I always thought that's what it must've been like to follow Oasis from the start and go to those gigs @the Boardwalk! I'll give you guys a little introduction by selecting the best from their EP's and albums they have out already! (I'd advise you all to really check them out, even if you're not going to the North American shows, cause I'm pretty sure you'll like it!) First album "Set Your Head On Fire": From their second album "Silver Threats" Stand alone single (epic video!) Latest ablum "My Perception"

Thread Bump. Btw, to any of you americans: Are the Black Box Revelation catching on in America at the moment? D'you think they could 'break' it as they say, or not really? They're touring over there quite extensively and released the album as well. And they're on Lettermans label.. Cause all we get to hear in Belgium is super positive, but I want to check reality first

Your ability to post a unanimous amount of videos in one thread knows no bounds. I will try and check out the Black Box Revelation, but not before you've driven me to the brink of insanity

Saw them last night, quite enjoyed them. They did a good job opening for BDI, playing about 7 or 8 songs. They're quite good just the two of them.
Thanks for the links. I can enjoy these properly now that i've heard them live.

No offense intended songbirdsally, because I usually like many of your posts, but can we fucking stop with the 'in for a treat'? all during the wait for Noels album, all during speculation of AA, its amazing how 4 little overused words can grate into your skull and squeeze out any sensibility and restraint on holding words in your head instead of on the internet.
yeah

Had to download Set Your Head On Fire after hearing it. Fits in nicely with The Black Keys new album I bought today.

Saw them open for Beady Eye in SF and LA and rather enjoyed them. It was real gritty rock and roll, lots of energy, tuneful but stripped down. I bought their CD.
Hope there were more than just the two band members trying to make that 2,000 mile drive between LA and the next gig in Minneapolis in 36 hours, though! They didn't have tour buses and professional drivers like BE did, just a couple of dudes in a Econoline van.
